This was a good result these are the type of games that we tend to mess up on. The issue again is conceding at the end and to a team with 10 men. The Sako sub was an odd one why he didn't just bring Max on shows again he doesn't rate the guy. I can see Meyer, Ried, Luca being a good partnership against some teams but they need a chance together. Clyne looked good for a guy who had been out for a while and not had any senior game time yes he wasn't fantastic but it's another option.

I didn't see the game but delighted to hear that Clyne had a decent game. What a shrewd signing.

But Wilf was off when it went to PvA, gaining an unfair advantage for when PvA squared it. BTW, Mitchell is developing a nice line in a pass-y cross into the box. That’s not how offsides work. It wasn’t actually that close. I saw a slowed down replay and PVA is actually quite far off. They just froze it too early on the tv when showing the replay.

Now we only need to shift out an old Toyota (Schlupp) with a Formula 1 engine (Eze) who ozes quality - and gives us an entertaining edge as well.
