Maybe controversial, but I actually thought Meyer played well when we came on yesterday. Some neat passion and a decent cross. I fear there is certainly a player in there, but due to him not being in Hodgson's 15 man squad, we haven't seen it. I agree with this.. He is constantly played out of position and we also have a manager that doesn't allow a player like Meyer to express himself due to how we play.. I've always said that I think Meyer could become a quality Premier league player but not in our side with our manager unfortunately..
Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!! |

But we will drop down anyway at this rate. Once Burnley scores we were always going to struggle so why not give them a run out. They are asking fans to support the academy but the manager isn’t even doing that Exactly, don’t take your St money back , buy a brick in a wall, why invest in an academy when they don’t get used. 4 of then sat on the bench during a piss poor performance, ffs Roy either play what some may remember as decent attacking football, take risk, play players in position, change tactics not just stand on the sidelines trying to look like a wise old owl , if we lose so be it , it’s light years away from the dross we are being fed. I’m tired of it one or two decent games a year what’s the point ... Last night was Roy in a nutshell .. plan a , don’t attack, sit back , don’t change tactics. 90 min of sleepwalking s*** tbh. Zero plan b , all this bs were missing tekkers wtf , 2 goals in 2 years , but o yes he can head a ball no where in particular. I’m done

How many of us thought we would go down this season, or at the most would struggle to survive? I certainly had little confidence so in terms of results in my book we have overachieved. Our wage bill may be hefty, but our investment in players with resale value surely is not and as such Roy has done a tremendous job. Yet I fully understand people longing for more attractive football and giving younger players a change. Unfortunately the reality is that Premier League football is a "results business". Entertainment seems far less important and most of us fans put up with it.

We have 42points we are safe .. 6 games to actually experiment in .. use untried players .. play fing football not make us want to stick pins in our eyes to feel something while watching the crap we were dealt with last night

Pitty Sorloth is on loan until Aug 2021!

I would have brought him and Pierrick on for 15 minutes against Burnley, would we have been any worse?

Watched the second half of Brighton v Man Utd last night and the pace, skill and passion Brighton showed would easily have turned Burnley over on Monday night. They would have stuffed us if we had played the same as well and they got beat 3.0 Last night :-(

I informed him that we were above them in the table (We are still clear of them - 9 pts), that we had finished above them the previous 2 seasons (They were 17th last season to our 12th, and 15th to our 11th the season before) and that their net spend this season and the previous two was around £195 Million whereas ours over that period was virtually nothing. Roy wont play him. Yes I'm afraid your right on that, according to press report Real Madrid are watching him (Sorloth) so in theory if the option to buy at 7mil is correct, then in theory the Turkish club could sell on and make a good profit as clearly his 21 goals this season are not going unnoticed by some bigger clubs!
