Oh! That’s ok then. I thought he just had a sh*t game! As long as he was carrying an injury it’s fine that he was a passenger for most of the match.

Did anyone miss Luka today? I didn't. Unless we get a penalty, I can't think of much he adds to the team. He's tough in the middle, but Kouyate can play that role, plus adds more skill than Luka does.

And after his red card, I hope Cahill keeps the captain arm band.

2018 Jan. (Sako) Palace 1 - 0 Burnley
2019 May (Batshuayi, Batshuayi, OG, Van Aanholt, Townsend) Palace 5 - 3 Bournemouth
2020 Feb. (Van Aanholt) Palace 1 - 0 Newcastle

The first thing I said after their goal is that they wouldn’t have carved through us if Luca had been playing. He is hard as nails and most opposition are scared of him. Plus he keeps on Zahas back. Keeps him going. Sorely missed in my view. But he needs help with keeping his head.

I could not believe the pundits and Lineker in particular, making light of Aubameyang's foul on Max Meyer that got him a red. VAR showed it perfectly as a career threatening tackle. I was surprised MM did have a breakage.

I used to like Lineker. No more. He's well past it.

I couldn't go yesterday and have only watched bits of the game this morning.
Great result in my opinion given our injuries and lack of firepower.
Joe Cole was very insightful on BT Sport afterwards and summed us up well.
Respecting the point and taking 4 of them from Arsenal this season is excellent!

What planet were the pundits and Lineker in particular on when the made light of Aubameyang's lunge at Max meyer?

It was a dreadful tackle meriting a red by itself wasn't it?

Do they need to see and hear the bone break before it's serious?

Yeah, I saw it last night and couldn't quite believe what I was hearing. If that tackle isn't a red card then anything short of an assault with a weapon should go unpunished. They seemed to be fixated on intention, which is largely irrelevant and they couldn't possibly know anyway, rather than the actual event.

If you want a laugh and a taste of a totally delusional gooner then this is the link to follow. Tends to ignore the fact Xakha committed 6 fouls in the first half alone with Kolasnic not far behind him.

The Arsenal fans keep banging on about the injustice of VAR and the fact that Aubamalamadingdong is not a dirty player. It was worse than the challenge by Sakho that earned him a red and fully deserving of an early bath regardless of whether or not he meant it. Studs up, out of control directly onto the standing foot. Meyer was very lucky not to have had his ankle broken.

You beat me to it I was just going to post this. It's a very balanced unbiased report of the game
