Watford played to their strengths and came away with a point.
This isn't a new tactic and is something we should have been prepared for.

Still respect the clean sheet and the point.

Funny thing is if you ask most fans they'd say we have hardly shown any desire to put a foot in or be physical.

Maybe due to Deeney not playing or we just save it for Zaha?!

Yep, Hodgson's doing a shocking job. 8th in the table, having to shuffle the pack because of injuries. 7 points and 3 clean sheets in a week. It's time we got a decent coach in.

Shows just how easily fan's perspectives can change.

I agree that yesterday was very poor from both sides, but you cannot deny it was off the back of a midweek game with 10 men for 70 mins in what was originally bare bones squad now hampered by injuries.

7 points and three clean sheets off the back of that tough run is as good as I could have possibly wished for so I'd hope like most I'm very content as it stands.

If we play like that against the weed however, that will most definitely change.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

Well we are bottom of the league with no home wins and 9 goals so clearly haven't been competive for most of the season .

We have let people run rings round us quite easily.

We lost 8-0 to Man City - I wish we'd put in a tackle or two against them !

Have you seen us this season ? The fact yesterday was one of our better performances says a lot .

And yes it was a harsh booking .

Very fair, nicely put. Prospect of a new manager has put a rocket up a feww bottoms, just like you would expect. Just like Palace to get the wrong end of a manager change.

A good point - our best performance was against Arsenal which was Flores first match too .

Putting on a show for the new manager .

Mind you still didn't win and yes I accept we did did seem to target Zaha.

My point was more than we haven't been putting in the effort or "desire " generally .

I suspect having Deeney back might ruffle a few feathers though !

It was not just not a booking, it was a foul the other way. Disgusted with the "game-Wilf" management, the moaning of your players who kick about but are rolling around like Klinsmann when touched, the crowd with their "dive in a minute" when you have a few people running about ( Deulofeu, Sarr, Deeney) who are rather skilled at it.

League one you go if it's up to me, good luck there .

Watching the Wolves game, Wilf could really learn a lot from Adama Traore. Gets wiped out again and again but keeps his head.

I was out all day into the early hours and so missed both showings of MOTD, and have only just had the energy to watch the "highlights". I just can't get over "that" card for Wilf.

Do the rules allow an appeal? Could Atkins request that it be rescinded? Did the assistant or the 4th official inform the ref's decision, because, if not, then I should think that you couldn't have much stronger grounds for overturning the card than that the ref didn't even see the incident.

Any referee who books a player without seeing the incident, and without consulting his other officials or VAR, is quite frankly a cheat, and should be sanctioned.

The most boring game I've ever seen but a points a point whether it's 0 0 or 4 4 Maybe parish could sell the "highlights" to the NHS would save them loads on sleeping pills
