We had enough good chances in the end to win the match, although to be fair we could have been a couple down at half time,so in the end a draw was a fair reflection of the game.Just gutting that the equaliser was 10 seconds from the final whistle.

You can always miss 2 clear chances though. If we were better organised going forward we would have had a lot more clear chances, and probably would have scored one. Considering how dominant we were in the second half, is 2 clear chances acceptable ?

If you take a moment to look at the Stats on FotMob it was totally overall an even game, so no real point in complaining, a point is a point at the end of the day, three next week would be useful.

It was an even game, but throwing away 3 points like that is criminal. I don't think we're any better than Wolves, but we have to be able to hold onto that lead against 10 men.

Considering how dominant we were in the second half, is 2 clear chances acceptable ? It is if you score them. Roy can’t stick the ball in the net. On chances created we did enough to win today. I’ve never played football to a good standard but I don’t think it’s as easy to create chances as you may think. For a club of our size, being organised and compact and creating more chances than we concede is a probably a good method. We’re sort of an opposite team to what we were under Pardew - as exciting as it was, results weren’t too hot. It’s pretty boring and stale at the moment, but that’s a reflection of where we are as a club, stuck in mid table obscurity, rather than a reflection on Roy. In my opinion he’s doing a very solid job.

The players are not 6 years old. They should now how to finish a game off. So says EddieMac 😂 My question is: Did they finish the game off? If wilf was instructed to head for the corner flag ( like a 6 year old) it is very likely we wouldn’t have conceded! I’m a Deputy Head and managing adults who are professionals (teachers) is like managing 6 year olds - they need to be told what to do all of the time - footballers are no different.

If that's the price you have to pay to be defensively solid then fair enough. Do you agree we needed an attacking midfielder on the pitch today ? Particularly when they were down to 10 men. We spent so much time around their box but didn't have a midfielder comfortable playing there. The Villa game was almost exactly the same, camped in their half and couldn't make it work. My opinion isn't a knee jerk reaction to today's performance, I've been saying this for a while. We have some very good attacking players yet there is no cohesion. That's what the manager and coaches are supposed to do. I don't want Roy to go, he is doing a very good job and we're in the best position we've ever been as a club in my lifetime. Doesn't make it any less frustrating when you can see the same problems every week.

I’m a big fan of Meyer and think he should be starting home games. However, I’m no master tactician and I felt on balance of play we were good enough to win. We might have been overrun in midfield if Meyer/Camarasa started - we’ll never know. We looked comfortable second half and it felt like the second goal was coming. In hindsight, you’re probably right that a creative midfielder may have made the difference. Didn’t cross my mind at the time though because we were so on top.

Problem is that with the current system we don't seem to be able to incorporate an attacking midfielder, it's a pity as that's why I thought Camerasa came to the club to enable us to go forward without going sideways and backwards before we eventually go forward.
