He put in a shift, which is all you want. I think once the first goal comes there will be many to follow, just a matter of confidence. Work rate equals success, it will come

ONE ok game and all the Benteke fans come out the woodwork..

You may be happy with a striker with f*** all movement, a football brain that doesn't exist and the work rate of the councils road workers but I am not.

He's been s*** all season. I suggest fella you take off those Benteke tinted glasses and open your eyes and ears to the crowd around you.

If you want a striker who flicks the ball on and nothing else you need to up your standards

I have a season ticket and I was at the game yesterday And I saw Benteke do a lovely flick to send Sako in on gto score the winning goal that got us three points.
Similar to his contributions to our wins against Leicester and Saints.I suggest you just get some glasses tinted or not.

That's because he did f**k all else the whole game , he still had some energy left at the end of the game...he was shocking yesterday, Sakho was running past him to get into the box while he just stood still, I understand his confidence has gone completely, but surely you try harder when thar happens?

“In the second half, he and Benteke worked hard to disturb the centre-halves and help make sure we held on to our lead.” Roy speaking after yesterday’s game. So either Benteke is a lazy good-for nothing or Roy doesn’t know what he’s talking about.

So one lovely flick on is enough in a game...

At the end if the day, you Dan support him all you want, but he's a £30m striker who's scored 1 goal all season. Cant be bothered to look at the stats for other strikers, but would be suprised if there's many worse...

I'd suggest that it actually is when it directly leads to the only goal in a 1-0 game.

Well I think Simon's head is large; always involved in espionage. (Name that tune)

Dear me.....you're easily pleased. Personally I want more than one decent flick on in a game. Like maybe putting away the two very good chances he had himself..

That's correct Mr G. He as you know did many other things but its not worth trying to explain to people who don't pay attention to the game

I assure you i do pay attention. What i see is a player who has absolutely no confidence, but instead of working hard to try and get some form back, serms to have given up and just going through the motions.

just don't get how anyone can support a forward who has only scored one goal all season.

How long did it take for Shane Long to score his only goal of the season!!!

You can hear it in the stands, outside the ground. f***ing Benteke this, f***ing Benteke that. Bottom line is he isn't working hard enough. As for closing down against Man City. The midfielders were running pastt him when we cleared corners!

you sure you've got a season ticket and not watching form Spain on your black and white?

Also it wasn't a flick. He lifted the ball out to the wing. Big f***ing deal
