Personally, I have no time for him whatsoever. The fact that he's 'Palace through and through' is irrelevant. Is it because he looks better as a woman than you do?

Just because someone is 'Palace' doesn't mean you have to agree with them, like them or respect them! You only have to read these boards for evidence of that!

He made an utter fool of himself last night and it was embarrassing to watch. God help whichever constituency votes him in.
We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold... |

We don't do possession; we do defense and attack. Everything else is just wa**ing with a football. |

wow, how liberating! If it's legal it is allowed in public view. Wearing heels and make up is as far as I'm aware not a crime. Originally posted by hornbreaker13
some people think that a man dressing up as woman is not acceptable and I for one wouldn't want my children seeing that and thinking it is the way to behave and act. If he wants to be like that he can do it in his own home or whatever establishments he frequents where it is acceptable. Izzard showed no respect or consideration for others and knew exactly what he was doing.

are you seriously condoning people abusing other people that are "different"? And of course one can disagree and find something distasteful, but saying "he's brought this up to himself" is condoning it and saying abuse is ok just because someone chooses to dress/behave differently. Fine - I take your word that on this occasion he wasn't. But the link at the start of this thread clearly shows him dressed to the nines as some middle aged housewife wearing bright pink lipstick, a stupid broach and a Palace top below his coat. Now you may be OK with this but this isn't really the image I would wish for our club. Cant help but think that he has brought this on himself.

You have it right in your view. Some though have said 'he asks for it' when hes harrassed in public due to his appearance or have belittled those defending this public bullying. This is worrying and close to saying a female 'asks for it' due to how she dresses. The Clothing a person wears of course arent a get out of jail free card for any local thug or bully.

If someone makes a bit of a tit of themselves on tv then they are fair game for criticism. If you're a comedian some people will find you funny some won't. Given how much money he has made and how popular he is worldwide he must be half decent. However again you are fair game for criticism. Going to a football match watching the club you support both in person and financially (the academy) you'd think fellow fans would be a bit more supportive. Certainly not abusive on what is a once in a generation event.

His appearance is his business and people will make of it what they will. Quote for Izzard. To whom would you most like to say sorry, and why? Nelson Mandela, because I didn’t do enough to stop apartheid. Now I have hopefully made amends. I hear the sound of someone disappearing up their own arse.
