On the BBC's thread they are printing all their interviews with managers ahead of the weekend's fixtures. Just about every one of them touches upon transfers, except for the interview with our manager, who just talks about Brentford, despite the fact we've only spent money on one player, an untried, untested youngster, who's injured.

That's about all I can muster so far as a moan but it is a bit depressing if not infuriating.

I think the money was used to avoid financial problems. We'd spent a lot in the 16/17 and 17/18 seasons in bringing in Sakho, Benteke, Townsend, Tomkins etc. In fact a net spend of more than £80m over the 3 years before the AWB sale.
