Echo what everyone else said….happy to take a point. We were outplayed for long periods of the match. They had more ‘desire’ to win the ball than we did. No good complaining about who was good/bad etc. Let’s just be happy with point and look forward to playing a Liverpool team who have a midweek match before they play us…and missing their 2 best strikers.

If you line up 4-3-3 against 4-4-2, you face being overrun in midfield. Granted, you hope to cause the opposition problems by playing three up front. But only play three up front if you've got three strikers. I don't see either Eze or Olise in that role. Phew so lucky to get a point from that. Need to be braver and move higher up the pitch. Brighton just suffocated everything we tried to do. Butland was fantastic.

I think some on here are a bit too critical, that’s a good point, especially when you consider, Butland has still only played a few games, the back four have played fairly regular but all of the mid three and front three have hardly played together, just a handful of games for some

Got away with it tonight, didn’t deserve the point. I love Wardy but he is not up to it now, every game he drops a bollock. I thought Mateta was a good switch, but I would have put Edouard out wide and taken Eze off. Brighton were better than us tonight, as we were the better side at our place…
