Glad we got a point but I think we would have got 3 of Olise had started in place of Ayew. It was the obvious change from last game and pretty disappointed Vieira didn’t make it.

My two penn'orth on the dropping of points:

If you draw a home game - any home game - you can rightly say that you have dropped two points.

If you draw a game - home or away - that you ought to have won, then a different phrase is needed; "thrown away" perhaps.

Ergo on Monday we dropped two points because we threw away two points (some might say). Today we dropped two points and Leicester threw away two points (their fans might say, although we might differ from that view).

As an aside, what I hate is when the so-called experts in the media say that two teams who have drawn have "shared the points". No they haven't; they've each taken a point. To share the points, each team would go away with one and a half.

Well spotted YT!

My thoughts - 2 defensive lapses have cost us 4 points this week. They have to be eradicated.
Today Leicester had 2 clear chances and both were put away clinically. You could argue that Wilf (first half) and Eduard second half had similar opportunities and both failed to put them away. We need to be more clinical.
However I am most definitely a half glass full, as we are playing a much more palatable style than of football and feel if we can just sharpen up of a couple of aspects we are more than capable of finishing top ten.

Have to say, for the first time in years I look forward to watching us play. This is no disrespect to RH but the performances since PV is clearly very different. We've had couple of results where we deserved more but it is what it is.

Andersens error was poor but I'm not going to be too harsh on him and hope he learns from it. I still feel that him and Guehi are and will be the best CB pairing we've had.

Olises performance showed that he needs to start. His ability is immense and can unlock defences - as hard as Ayew tries, the same cannot be said about him.

As much as I like Schlupp.. I don't see him as a starter. He's most effective as a sub and I think he's proved this over the years and again today.

As for Luca - played v well today. Have to admit his performances over the last couple years have been generally poor but perhaps how we play now under PV suits him more and we can see the best out of him.

People keep referring to Andersen’s defensive error. Actually there were two - he at fault for both of Leicester’s goals. For the second he failed to track Vardy and allowed him to get goal side of him and then fell over trying to intercept the pass.

A decent fight back and a good point earned after a disastrous 1st. half. Credit to PV for instilling some bite into the side. Couldn't see this happening last season under Roy. Two gifts cost us 2 points, I hope the guys learn from this. Was not impressed with Mitchell today, particularly his 1st. half where he was frequently caught in possession and with some poor passing decisions. Not saying he should be dropped but needs to improve. I think Olise must start against Arsenal in preference to Ayew. I think he will be a handful for them to contain. He shows all the promise to be a very decent pro. I also think Schlupp should start in place of MacArthur too. Macca lacks a yard or two of pace for my liking, and often loses possession.

Anderson made the mistake not Ayew.

The individual mistake in the first half was disastrous but the performance was as brilliant as the second half.

I still get shivers regarding the way we defend. Our midfield gets over run still although we look fantastic going forward. Milo had another solid game and has learnt how to pass but when he goes on a jolly we need to have someone drop off. We were super second half and we have lots to be optimistic about. Still to naive at the moment but so looking forward to bashing up the Arsenal for our first away win. Ollise must start instead of Ayew, jmo.

He always could pass. It’s like many players, Roy vs PV. Under Roy he was constantly under pressure and having to making one touch passes, often scapegoated.

Class class player.

It's a shame in view of his effort but comparing Ayew to Olise
is as chalk to cheese.

Ayew gets tackled a lot because he runs into trouble but Olise is much more nimble and avoids the crunchers. Only one of his passes failed to reach the target and his finish was sensational.

He will give the right side more offensive balance and because of this Edouard / Benteke should get more crosses.

I'll be interested to see if Hughes can add something more constructive to our midfield.

I am Luka's biggest critic but have to admit he played well today although his free kicks/corners are still poor.

You call the foul on him by Declan Rice after he'd got past him as running into trouble, in that game against West Ham he was stopped by illegal means five times, each time a possible scoring opportunity for him or others, Ayew is in the top ten for most fouled player in this league ..perhaps if someone could inform him to stop getting into trouble he might pull less painful faces.

A couple of slightly weak links in the fullback positions but they’re both doing a job. We just need to cut out the individual errors because they’re costing us points.

Leicester are a really decent side and they were extremely fortunate to get away with a point.

The fullbacks werent at fault for either goal, squarely with Andersen. Or on Monday again the CBs were at fault not the fullbacks.

Also, would genuinely consider starting Schlupp ahead of Wilf next week.
