This sums up Roy’s inability to motivate the team. Half time he should have ripped into them for sloppy defending and made sure we don’t lose the 2nd half. The second half we look completely disinterested and are complete embarrassment to the club. Every single player should give their match fee to charity as they’ve completely given up

We have to play games with only a truncated period between them so it is little wonder that an old squad, many of whom are past their best,find the demands too challenging.

We've had some pretty sh-t luck in the past two games, starting with that bicycle kick, and through today where every Liverpool goal has been perfect. That being said the last clean sheet we had was the first match of the season. How can Roy team be so horrible at defending all of a sudden?

This is the game where it all caught up with us. Liverpool are sharp and incisive, our ageing squad can only tread water. I'm not even going to criticise Roy, the performances against Spurs and Wet Spam were solid, but this is a game too many in a short space of time for this lot to cope with. Don't discount the Benteke red either, to Hodgson's overall team plans.
