All the Wilf arselicking needs to be reigned in as far as I'm concerned I know he has served us well and been a terrific player but I dont buy into he is bigger than us crap. He signed a long term deal with the club worth a fortune if he feels like he has to play s***e all season to lower his value to guarantee that move is made. he is a w***er end of. He should of made it so that the big clubs would have no issues paying the bigger fee. Not while under contract with us prance about making zero contribution most of the season. I dont blame Roy for this either Zaha had 2 of his best 3 seasons under Roy the only man who is responsible for wilfs actions on the pitch is wilf and his agent. Hopefully a big club abroad signs him and pays top dollar. But I feel wilf and his agent have won he will go cut price and we wont get a replacement and the usual fannies will still lick his arse even though he f***ed us over.

He has worked the club over , he didn’t have to , it could backfire on him. But all in all , He must not be allowed to work the club over any further . I just hope he doesn’t get the chance to mope around for a second season.

And replace him with who?

Don’t know, someone that’s interested and wants to play. Me , Meyer, you,Schlupp.
If he was dropped , not rested , for a couple of games , it may have livened him up for the remaining games.

Only those inside the training ground truly know which way the wind is blowing.
If he truly deliberately put in sub standard performances then more fool him. Not only will that not go down well with any elite level clubs that may have been interested in him but demand total professionalism at all times, also any real big clubs will be looking at his performances now and think nah, not even worth the 40m Arsenal offered last year.
And if he was to come out and say I lost my enthusiasm because I dont want to play for Palace any more that will go down like a lead balloon too.
Ronaldo, Modric, Bale ALL got massive moves because they wanted to move but did not sulk or let their performance levels drop.

You would have a job to actually replace an in form Wilf, it s not likely to happen. I hope they don’t think like that,.If he goes take the opportunity to change our strategy . Get a second rate Wilf, and play the same way and we would be up against it. Having said that Wilf, has not exactly ripped anything up this season, and we survived.
Time to get different sorts in ,not to different , but easier to weld into a unit, instead of relying on what has been an exceptional talent on his day.

Ha ha you having a giggle son. Zaha is now only worth 15 to 20m tops. Look at the stats this year 38-4 last season 34-10 then 29-9.

More worried he might stay!

Everton the latest rumour again. I reckon he'd love that, living up there and playing for a team that never achieves anything regardless of the fact they seem to spend a fortune every year. If he went to Everton, then we will know for sure his leaving is nothing to do with playing at the top level.

Intentional or not Wilf has had a poor season by his standards, but imagine if we sold him for 30-40m and then he played like Wilf from last season? Fans have been bad enough about the club letting Sorloth go! Worth it or not, I can't see Parish letting Wilf go for less than 40-50m, even if it means we have to accept payment in installments. He is 27, not 37, and you can see (like at Chelsea) that his talent hasn't vanished.

I don't think he should be here next season as since the day he handed in the transfer request he has not been the same player and no longer seems to have that desire to play for us. It's really sad, but I think it's perhaps more to do with his relationship with the club rather than the fans. In the end it may be his lack of emotional maturity that costs him a crack at the big time, as he has always had the potential to play at the highest level in footballing terms.

The best move would probably be to a big foreign team under a coach who would put his arm round him and where fans might be less inclined to judge him before he kicks a ball, but it seems like he may just end up at a bigger mid-table team like Everton where he will probably end up feeling disgruntled too when he wins the league cup at most.

It's hard not to feel let down
