I thought we were by far the better side until VG's error. That turned the game. We still created enough to have levelled things and then, who knows?
We move in the direction of our thoughts. |

I wouldn't say that we were "by far" the better side, but the first half was infinitely more enjoyable to watch than our performances against Derby and Southampton. Unfortunately the old adage that "goals change games" again proved to be right, and although we kept trying to attack (whatever people say), we could all see that the balance had changed and wasn't going to change back in our favour. It's a hard old world.

This is the worst, most ineffective dross I can recall. Players earning more in a week than I can dream of earning in a year while I pay for 4 Season Tickets and travel over 180 miles for every home game. Frankly, I can't quite afford it and sometimes my monthly DD bounces but I find a way to ensure my boys and I get to see our beloved club. It's the way of the world and it is my choice, but.... We have been suckered into league points and position equating to a level of performance that we enjoy/are satisfied with/impressed by. Only now are we all starting to wake up. Whatever goes on behind the scenes, it needs an effin overhaul. Paying fortunes to players who no longer deserve or earn their wages is a surreal and disrespectful mess. Instead of claiming to understand that we didn't risk investment during the transfer window yet ignoring the plain fact that we have massively overpaid, deadwood non-assets that need moving on; just proves how deluded we ALL are. Get a grip Parish or pass the reins to someone who will. Brave is paying the crap off and playing the likes of Woods, Daly and others, just once in a while. Oh but we got shot of them didn't we.... Very sad.

Very sad. I’d recommend you don’t renew your season ticket, save the money and go to a few games rather than all. That’s what I’ll be doing next season. It’s become a chore which is sad

We were the better side, but after so long of trying not to criticise a palace player, i now have to say Benteke is a complete waste of space, he does not care a jot about the club that pays his wages, the other players tried, worked hard, he just does not give a s,,t

I think Roy should set up for the Everton game with 4 narrow in defence, 3 holding midfielders, Andros or Ayew on the right, a non-striking striker up front, who will gently jog about, and Wilf who might get us a goal. If we go a goal down, there's always the following week. This is depressing, but 100% accurate.

I am sure the boys will have played very well, and we will have been unlucky not to have got a draw, can't fault their effort, unfortunate to give away the goal, sometimes the referees don't always get it right, we have a lot of injuries or the boys are very tired and we just need to get to the next transfer window so we can bring in 4 or 5. Dougie will be in Scotland trying to pick up the next out of contract wonderkid to immediately loan back to Inverness Caledonian Thistle as he has a lot to learn before he is 29 and suitable for the Premier League. Jeff Schlupp is nearly ready for his 1st team return, and he will be like a new signing. Have you seen the artist's impression of our new stand - looks fabulous and will help us to boost attendance in our 900,000 people catchment area.

If we stay up this year the people at the top will just carry on the same way, we need to sell the club and get rid all the people at the top. Do you think we’ll be an attractive proposition to buy as a championship club?

Couldn't put it better myself. You don't need to be Klopp to work out that a team that can't score will soon be in trouble. The football is truly awful - the worst in 50 years supporting the club. Our tactics are the same home and away, week in and week out. Sheer tedium on a mega scale and I fear Brighton will play us off the park in a couple of weeks, just like they did for the first 70 minutes at Selhurst. I don't know if Roy would like to be more adventurous and is hoping his mind numbing football is the best way of keeping us in the Premiership. The Board certainly have some questions to ask themselves - I know Parish saved us back in 2010, but the total lack of investment will see us back in the Championship THIS season - not next. I hope I am wrong, but my biggest hope is to see us actually having a go at the opposition. The only other team that play the same dull crap that we serve up are the Geordies. Put all your money on 0-0 when the rock up at Selhurst shortly.

What would you do with the players at our disposal to make us more attacking at home apart from not letting Benteke anywhere near a start ?
