In his post-match interview, Tosun said that he (Tosun) fouled him. Just barely, but he didn't dispute the call.

Yeah but he’s the player, i am the fan so I can be biased!

Great result, fantastic performance and another upset of the big boys. We're turning into draw specialists, that's four in a row now.

Unfortunately every silver lining does have a cloud and today's result was slightly tinged with sadness for me, as I was forced to accept that the Scousers are now definitely going to win the league

They look in the dustbin for something to eat, they find a dead cat an they think its a treat, so god knows what will happen when they win the league.

Very much agreed. Shame that goal won't be counted for Zaha or Wickham.

It counted. That’s all that matters.

Kouyate instead of Luka for me for now.
I always said he was good when others didn't and he is now proving it as well as being versatile.
Tosun put in a shift and scored.
Good news all over the pitch!

Fantastic for Roy. Selection choices.

I wouldn’t swap Tomkins or Cahill for England centre backs McGuire, Stones, Keane or Mings.
Our centre halves just know how to defend , where to position themselves and how to read the game.
I also like Mcarthur in the deeper midfield role.
Luka is one paced and gives away so many free kicks in dangerous areas.
Mcarthur is busy and more mobile than Luka and seems to play more forward passes.
McCarthy looks to be a sharper tackler than Luka and again offers more energy.
An interesting selection dilemma for Hodgson and hopefully the increased competition will lead to Luka rediscovering his early form for Palace.

I think we also have to give credit to Roy and the coaching staff, retired defenders who have worked under Roy have praised him for that aspect. That is why I think KWP would like to come to Palace.

As for Luka his form has definitely dipped but that maybe due to carrying an injury or just tiredness his work rate is excellent.

Hopefully a short rest will do him the world of good but he will have to fight his way back into the team which is never a bad thing.

I thought it was a well deserved point.

City came into the game on the back of a big win which illustrated how important organisation, concentration and shape are when playing against them. Villa lacked all three and got a hiding.

Aguero's second goal was disappointing as for once he was unmarked. To recover from that the way the team did was remarkable . For Wilf to find the strength to go on such a forceful run in the last minute of a hard game is testament to his determination especially as I suspect he's not 100% fit at the moment.

So many people on here like to have a moan about Hodgson and yet his players are going out and giving their all.

I was particularly impressed by our right side yesterday. We have Kelly and Ayew playing out of position and they did a great job, especially Ayew who ran his socks off and was dead on his feet at the finish. His defensive contribution was important to the final result.

People have to remember this is a great Man City team, playing at home and coming off some recent strong form. Really good result.

Ex Premier League referee Chris Foy states that the Stones tackle on Zaha wass a definite penalty. So were we robbed? Also not mentioned at all on MoTD.

At a time when we're all feeling so positive it's a shame to sound a cynical note. But when the next performance like Derby or the first half against Arsenal comes round I guarantee that this site will be awash with all the tired old criticism of Roy's tactics, poor substitutions, etc. I don't take any pleasure in saying that but in the hope that we supporters will be a bit more forgiving when things aren't going right.

Thought the last 2 games were free hits and to get 2 points, great stuff. Undoubtedly yesterday was a better performance, disciplined and organised all round the park at a very tough place to visit. Tosun already making an impression and with all our injuries others really putting in a shift. Next 5 games, good chance to put some more points on the board. COYP !!

Exactly this, Wilf had their back 4 on toast for our second, good to see Connor getting in the right positions for when the crosses are flying in.

Man City forum - Blue Moon... Fans were asking why wasn’t Wilf hacked down leading up to his cross which lead to the equaliser? Seems to be a general consensus that Wilf should openly and continually get kicked up in the air...

Look at the Stones challenge on him. Stones made no attempt to get the ball and literally shoved him over in the box...
