Consider yourself corrected - Kelly's very much a centre back who can do a job at right back. That's from his mouth.

Roy took him to the Euros as a RB

The incident was right in front of me and immediately I concluded 'Red card'.

A terrific result as a result of organisation and discipline. To win after being down to 10 men after 19 mins speaks volumes.Jolly well done to Roy Hodgson, his coaching staff and of course the players.

What a surprise! At least you know more about football than Michael Owen

One last point on Eddie Howe - he was close to tears afterwards.
Me thinks he feels he can't take Bournemouth any further and so I reckon he is off - maybe to have a rest rather than straight to another Club but his words were more like a farewell speech in my opinion!

No big club will touch him, he is only bigged up by the media. Arrogant t*** in my book

Roy summed it up perfectly.

Essentially it is very soft by most peoples standards but apparently according to the current rules it technically qualifies as a red and we are very unfortunate.

Watched it live but didn't have great view and seen numerous replays since.

Not a red by any stretch for me, it's not even a tackle, it's a clearance which he makes and follow through grazes the knee of the opposition. Games rules have gone to pot.

A simple booking nothing more, snowflakes all over that ref.

Managers have to be arrogant.

Amazing Performance from our boys, left everything out there. played some lovely one touch intricate passing at to get up the pitch, Kouyate always seemed to be in their way....but Man! Bournemouth were shocking, worst I've seen them play. nothing up front, no confidence in front of goal.
I don't think the Red made a jot of difference to the game. We dominated them throughout, but except for the odd pieces of individual brilliance from Ayew/Zaha/Schlupp never looked like being through On goal. All our chances even before the sending off was inside a crowded penalty area with B'Mouth defending very deep.
bit nervous at the end when we were trying to close out The game. We wasted possession a few times deep in their own half and gave them another opportunity to attack,

Agree was a bit of b*llocks that a Schlupp showed that won us the game. 30 seconds before the goal Ayew picked up the ball and drove into their box with the ball, thought he game Schlupp the desire to have a go. How sh*t is their keeper?? Shocking. Like a short Hennessey. Wait for it !

I have a feeling Everton will be looking for a new manager in the morning and it could be Eddie Howe.

He tried moving away from home before.
Didn't like it and scuttled back to Ballmouth.

Suck it up, sonny.

I most certainly will not. Sexism is unacceptable whether it's on the street or on an internet forum that's read by people of all genders. I'll call anyone out here on racism, homophobia, sexism, unbased intolerance of any kind. Just because you seem to think it's the middle ages doesn't make it ok.

So are you going to change your profile picture of the girl flashing her knickers then?

... back to the game....

(Or rather, the refereeing)

IMHO, Taylor had a shocker. Bournemouth use the Ferguson Principle of taking one for the team. If ever a team look like breaking, they commit a cynical foul and risk a booking. And added to that, immediately block the chance of a quick free kick being taken. Added to that, Wilson looked to impede Guaita's distribution throughout. On one occasion in the second half, he grabbed at VG's arm to stop him releasing the ball yet got no more than a wagging finger from the ref.

Every opportunity to book one of ours was taken but he was lenient and inconsistent with Bournemouth. There was a strong chant of "You don't know what you're doing" in the second half to suggest I may not be alone in thinking the bloke had either an agenda or a nightmare performance.
