Not necessarily. Many years ago I had a brief period as a mortgage advisor and came across a Premier League goalkeeper looking for a mortgage. Needless to say football players at this level tend to buy very expensive houses but as they have very short careers their mortgages tend to run over three or five years so their monthly payments are very very high

Sod that though. They should get a decent apartment and buy up loads of property to rent out so that they are set up for life. Did you ever advise any of them to do this Midland?
