Yeah, god forbid anyone chant anything moronic, boorish and stupid at a football match.

Just where would we be?

we have been too soft for too long and attacks like yesterday are the result of pandering to the "must not insult anybody generation" of political leaders, and pot addled students.

MI5 have confirmed they have foiled 13 terrorist attacks prior to the cowardly and frankly disgusting acts of not one individual but all that facilitated the events of yesterday. Think about that 13 attempted terror attacks since the Belgium airport went tits up last year. Thats one a month every month for the past year.

Then we have the gay abandon that a jihad-ist inspired e magazine is downloaded, over 50,000 times in the UK alone, not to mention the IS fighters that are from Britain that we allowed to just waltz back into the country after shooting at Nato soldiers in Syria, Afghan, and Iraq.

The only surprise (hats off to the CI and SY communities), is that there hasn't been more of the same.

Maybe now those pricks in Westminster have been threatened they might do something.

Sadly I can see their response being restricted to putting big concrete barriers around Parliament and cancelling Met Police holiday for a couple of weeks.

Just caught the end of the 1 I clock news to hear apparently there are 'calls' for Westminster bridge to be pedestrianised. All a bit after the event. Anyone planning a copycat attack is unlikely to chose the same place again and what about All the other bridges, train stations, air ports etc etc etc ...... I really am surprised there haven't been other bombs in rucksacks / people blowing themselves up scenarios ,but I realise of course these could be what Danny refers to when making mention of foiled attacks. One day it will happen here as it does regularly in other countries. You can't stop people getting on a bus or train with a bag

Yep. They'll beef up security round the Palace of Westminster (by diverting resources from elsewhere) to protect their sorry arses but will do f*ck all else.

We cannot even trust the Police to police the Muslim Communities.... look at Rotherham - where gangs of Muslim men (many taxi drivers) were allowed to abuse, traffick and rape young white girls from broken and care homes etc and the Police turned a blind eye to it, fearing they would upset the Muslim communities (who probably knew what was going on and also condoned it anyway) FFS.

Whether its Jimmy Savile's public profile, the authority of the church, the secrecy of child care services, the influence of the BBC or fear of political correctness, the police chiefs always seem to have an excuse as to why they turn a blind eye to the abuse of children on mass.

The police officer was a father, husband and human being but with the amount of emphasis on this happening in the shadow of parliament and being aimed at authority and democracy I truly wonder whether some sections of society feel as strongly about what happened yesterday as they did when the tube was bombed in 2005' there is certainly an underbelly of our society who feel there is a them and us divide especially when it comes to government and mps who probably feel it's about time they experienced a bit of fear and a bit of upset on their doorstep

Probably because rather a lot of the higher echelons were actually involved in it.

We also come back to that class divide as touched on in the mccann thread. Some, not all, of those girls were from broken homes, pushed through the care system, in trouble with the police for other matters, runaway , tearaways and clearly vulnerable but could certainly in some instances been deemed a handful and bad news. That doesn't excuse the police ignoring them and them being abused in any way shape or form but people like that tend to be ignored.

To quote the mighty Sabbath 'they only started the war'. The only 'valid targets' in the area, are the ones behind a wall of armed police officers, with their own protective detail. I can kind of understand targeting MPs and parliament as an act of political terrorism, like Airey Neave - but this just pangs of very stupid angry nihilism.
