More straw man nonsense. I never used the phrase "born here" or said that anyone was actually "foreign" or that I liked or didn't like anyone. And you need to understand that someone who can make the distinction of whether or not there are too many black faces on the news, is a racist I see Englishmen, you see......? Based on the racial demographic of what you saw that night you said that people watching ITV news would be forgiven for thinking they were watching a foreign news channel. So yes you said that about your fellow countrymen. You also harped on about 'a country you have lived in from birth', which means 'born here' unless you didn't realise. That was unprompted, a slip of sorts no doubt. Seemingly outrage at the fact that anyone would question anything about or from you since you're born here. You've already 'told me' how I should view your racial comments. No thanks, I'll state my view as I wish. I'm as British as you, as were the non whites you've been imagining others - not you of course - will deem to be foreign. It as a ridiculous discussion to begin with because as I said, on plenty of days of the week there are few or no non whites on the news. You're noticing what you are apparently uncomfortable with. Clearly you can't grasp nuance. Or you deliberately choose not to more likely. Edited by Hrolf The Ganger (27 Nov 2016 7.41pm)

Edited by blackpalacefan (27 Nov 2016 7.35pm) It is odd that you feel the need to tell me what I said since I already know. Anyone can read it for themselves. Clearly, your interpretation is entirely prejudiced and inaccurate and I really am getting bored with the repetition. Believe it or not. I have better things to do and I'd like to believe you have too.

Or you deliberately choose not to more likely. ITV news broadly follows sky in coverage in terms of stories covered. Today it was F1, Football abuse, trump and clinton, the queens cousin dying. I barely saw a non white face. If you think that there is a liberal conspiracy to search high and low for stories involving non whites to the extent where people will be tuning in and thinking they're watching foreign news channels you're out of your mind, or racist. It's a non argument. We're not talking a matter of degrees, it is a tremendously paranoid and silly thing to say. Edited by blackpalacefan (27 Nov 2016 7.44pm)

If you have better things to do than casual racism I suggest you go and do them.

I made that clear. Clear to anyone who can read properly.

If you're angry at the racial make up of stories on ITV news on one specific night that is a bizarre and racist thing to make a thread about in the first place. If you're talking in a 'conspiracy' sense of the news in general having this slant, then as I said, the news on sky, itv and others broadly follows what has actually happened of note that day. Very frequently that does not involve stories about non whites, on occasion it may well do. Sometimes it may even relate to both. The horror of it all. Edited by blackpalacefan (27 Nov 2016 7.50pm)

No. You asked me a leading question with the sole purpose of derailing the thread and then deliberately misinterpreted it, misquoted me and used selected phrases out of context. It's such an old ploy. The proof is in the thread. No one has to take my word.

Most people aren't doing a racial headcount, they're actually seeing what has happened in the country that they care deeply for. You have used the term racist now how many times? It's fortunate that I'm not as easily offended as you claim to be.

If you think that merely noticing something, anything, makes you any kind of anything, you are a nut case.
