Homo erectus, there will never be a more childish, yet giggle producing, classification. We're the last of the Homo's, all our other genus are extinct.

And yet we seem to be hell bent on trying to join them.

Extinct or just absorbed?
Many humans are at least 2% Neanderthal for starters.

Give me the BBC over any other broadcaster every day, especially those controlled by the media barons with their specific agendas, like Murdoch. Having been to many parts of the world I don't think we realise just how lucky we are. I always search for the BBC when travelling as the source of informed, balanced, information and you might be surprised just how many others, in their home countries, also do so.

That the BBC is criticised by both the right, and the left, for being "biased" against them tells you that they get things right.

They are not tax funded at all. They are funded via the licence fee and are independent of government. For me they the BBC is a national treasure, who rank alongside the NHS as a great British achievement of the 20th century. That some seem not to value what they do is really very strange indeed. We would be much poorer without them.

Interview with Julian Assange worth watching, including:

- how Clinton supplied jihadists with weapons through Libya

- how the link with Russia and the leaked emails was actually found in a completely different set of leaked documents, and how the Clinton's have links with the Kremlin

- how Clinton stole the nomination from Sanders through manipulating media bosses amongst other things

- how Lafarge have donated to the Clinton foundation and also paid Isis for contacts

The only person on the left that have criticised the BBC for bias has been Jeremy Corbyn which is rubbish because every outlet outside of the Morning Star has done and all justified. How else has the BBC been seen bias against the left?

assange has shown that he's no different than anyone else. completely biased and devoid of any logic at all. he picks his sides. he's a liar.

and i'm not hillary fan but his entire reasoning is "well, we (read: him) think hillary is kind of into war so we want to bring her down." meanwhile trump couldn't be more pro war, even nuclear.

assange is paid off by someone. and i think his name rhymes with rootin'. or maybe he's just a deranged psychopath.

and clinton can't manipulate media bosses. just the most basic and stupid accusations. actually he reminds me of trump at this point.

'trump couldn't be more pro war, even nuclear'.

And your evidence for this is?

I just scrolled through the first 3 pages of the BBC's YouTube channel [Link] and attached a screenshot.

It has 5 stories on Donald Trump – all negative. It also has a positive story on President Barack Obama of the Democrats. Where's the balance?

I'm sorry, there's evidence for all the points in my post, most of it in the emails, as well as other sources. Why be in denial?

You should also look in to Haiti, and how aid money has disappeared and land rights have been given away to people close to the Clinton's, and watch the video 'Clinton Cash' on YouTube to see their links with African dictators and warlords amongst other things.

It's really not progressive to support Hillary, regardless of one's view of Trump.

That is an insult to the much maligned Neanderthal.
They were actually very smart apparently.

Greater potential as their craniums were larger on the far end of the scale. I think they're the only known species of Hominid that overlapped with Homo Sapians (although there was another subset of homo sapian which could just as easily have been absorbed).

Most of the other homo genus, seem to have been to diversely located or ancient to have crossed paths with our particular genus, of course they are to related sharing a likely common ancestor - so you would expect to find a relationship genetically between them.
