We had 4 attempts to WBA 1 attempt. Not sure what fat Sam was thinking, but they really needed something from this game, but never went for it.

So there was little space in the middle of the park. Every time Wilf and Eze had the ball they were fouled, yet no bookings. Shocking refereeing booked 3 or 4 of our players for time wasting. He didn’t even see the stand out obvious handball.

Championship referee at best....

Same standard as the teams then!

I would guess he got a contract because he can pass a ball, has composure, can dribble, can tackle, is probably fitter than everyone on here, played at Ajax for years so knows how football should be played, can play most positions on the pitch, happy on the ball anywhere on the pitch, takes the pressure off his teammate with a pass that is the correct speed and on the floor more times than not .. if you’d prefer someone else recommendations welcome

Hmm, I'll disagree with you on this. He's extremely average, very slow and cumbersome, and absolutely not an improvement on McArthur in any way. I feel he gets used as a stick to beat Hodgson with rather than being assessed in his own merits, and we are stronger with the two macs playing than with Jairo.

Much to the annoyance of football fans.

I know today West Brom used niggling fouls to stop us breaking almost every time we attempted to but we give the ball away so easily time and time again and we give the opposition all the encouragement they want to close us down by moving the ball with the ability of a sloth and then when we do actually manage to get the ball somewhere almost decent we'll stop still and make silly little passes to each other getting closer and closer together until a situation happens like against Spurs for their first goal where we are so easily dispossessed when doing this, why can't we switch play! why can't any of them look up and just switch the bloody ball away I just don't understand what we're doing.

The standard of football at this end of the table is absolutely woeful, yet we add to it by being really negative and not having a go at the teams in and around us. We had less possession at home to the team second from bottom, truly pathetic.
Grateful for the win, but I hope Parish has plans firmly in place for next season for a major overhaul.

I honestly think they're just as confused as all the players and us with all this crap about the rules, they must go through games really hoping for nothing to happen.

Another year of this and we are down without any doubt, we cannot be so fortunate again with so many games falling our way, we have no ability to pass, no ability to hold onto the ball, we have no clue about how to press and we have no idea how to run off the ball and I don't blame our manager one bit for this, the majority of our squad are simply not good enough.

I tend to agree you have no clue, we havent got 37 points by luck, that just doesnt happen over a season.
Take today, once we went in front, it was game over as we just sit back and kept them at bay. Its about game management, when you have a chamce of points you hold onto them. In fact we had the best chance in the second half with Bentekes shot well saved, they never troubled Guaita.

Agree, it was disgraceful and quite embarrassing.

4 shots on target to WBA 1 shot. 2 great saves from their keeper.

Possession was about even throughout....

The same old utter rubbish.

Yet another home performance that would have been booed off the pitch in normal times.

One of the adverts round the pitch was
'renewals available from 6th April'

Anyone doing so had best wait until later to see what
massive change in players, tactics and manager occur.

It is beyond poor, it is embarrassing.
