This must be a trick question.

If Eddie Howe's priority is Champions League football he will go for Celtic.

Lennon has just resigned from the Celtic job so Eddie may be on his way there!

That is just guesswork as none of us know what went on behind the scenes

Can't see Celtic wanting Howe. They will either go for a manager of one of the other Scottish clubs who's doing well with limited resources, a Scottish manager of an English Club or an established international name like (as has been mentioned) Benitez IMO.

Bookies have Steve Clarke as clear favourite now with Howe drifting away. Personally I wouldn't think Celtic fans would want a young English manager with no major honours to come in to try and save their club. Benitez sounds like a good shout, but could they afford his wages or be able to back him the market? Rafa I would imagine be interested to the size and history of Celtic and the opportunity to play in Europe again (where he thrives).

Celtic haven’t any money, no way they could afford Benitez. I hope they get Howe, so we don’t get lumbered with him. He would be a disaster at Palace.
