Forget tonight. They are so many levels above us it's untrue.
West Ham and Wolves home next two. Need a win in one of those games and we are fine.
Let's all be realistic, we have a chronic lack of investment and the squad is old. I'm glad Roy said Wilf had a 'knock' we need him for the next two important games. Finishing 13th and above this season is success.
Don't like it? Support someone else.

The players are absolutely restricted by the tactics. There’s no flair, no expression, no passion, no blood sweating for the club. The whole thing is soulless and depressing. He’ll say nice things about Man City at the end - how good they are, how organised, how skillfull - but not why he set up to be so negative, so s***, how bad at passing we are, how poor our decision making is etc. Everyone will say what a lovely bloke he is and that will mask the ttal abject performance as people will be more focussed on what a lovely old gent he is and he can hide behind that. Well it’s bollox.
I wanted to stay in the EPL as we’d get the money to do the ground up. On the basis that seems highly unlikely and I reckon we’ll be let down there as well, I’d rather be in the Championship where we could, at least, have a crack at a promotion campaign. No U23 on the bench with 2 places free is utterly shameful as well. Parish should kick his arse for that alone.

Quite agree mate spot on

This enforced break from going to games has really changed my views on Palace.
Currently our ambition is to stay in the Prem - nothing more.
That being the case I will seriously consider ditching my season ticket.
With RH in charge we will just continue to bore everyone.
I just can't take this dross any longer.
City are great of course but that was dismal and embarrassing.

Just another limp, lifeless, pathetic performance. Obviously not expecting us to beat City but we didn't even put up a fight. I make that an aggregate of 15-3 over our last 7 games. So that's 5 conceded for every goal scored, which is roughly our s*** game to good game ratio as well.

There has to be more to football than this. We are stuck in limbo with no investment, no inspiration and no hope of progression. Wilf wants out and I don't blame him, we're toast when he does go though.

We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold...

Nice to see us help out the PL yet again with their shutdown of goal celebrations by failing to score. We must be leading the recent stats with 5 failures in 7.

This has to be one of the worst performances I have seen in the PL this season and I have seen a few Sheff Utd matches.

Obvious Hodgson has absolutely no idea how to play the best teams. A repeat of Liverpool debacle.
He has to go.

In fairness it is the complete opposite of the Liverpool debacle the Liverpool debacle we want at them and got torn apart the Man city debacle we set back and got torn apart.

I think people need to take a chill pill. Yes we didn’t show any attacking intent or was it that City are a superb team who give you no time or space on the ball. Yet again some world class goals against us.
We have to come to terms with the PL is not a level playing field and we are never going to challenge. Am I disappointed with the performance? Yes but if we continue to stay in PL we are going to have to suck up games like this

For those defending today and still adamant Roy is the right choice to be our manager.

Our current form.

No Goals in 3 games
No shots on target in 2 out of the last 3 games

This is Royball

Yes, reluctantly agree. I hate seeing us play like this though. It’s embarrassing trying to explain to supporters of other teams why we are so crap at times.

Absolutely abysmal performance but I still believe we will finish mid table very comfortably. From the get go I haven't been expecting anything this season, all I want is for us to stay up. Getting relegated this year more than any other will be catastrophic for the clubs that go down.

We are the worst definition of a one man team there is. We cannot move on until he leaves even if it means going down and rebuilding with young hungry players. We have let him carry this team on his back for 4 years. The lack of ambition at board level on the pitch is so obvious.
