Colchester v Spurs - great 3rd round for them. They deserve that after last nights performance against us. I doubt very much Spurs will play a pretty tune either away at Colchester with their second string.

Meyer was played in advanced position against league two opponents last night and was poor yet again. Edited by Rachid Rachid Rachid (28 Aug 2019 8.56pm) The voice of reason. Regrettably Meyer, despite his abundant talent, simply isn’t up to it. Nor is Riedewald. Massively disappointing.

Killed Spurs chances in the same way as ours. Gotta hand it to them!

Have to admit tonight’s result has pleased me immensely... My business partner is a huge Spurs fan and gave me no end of crap when Colchester knocked us out!! I’ve sent him a few texts already but strangely enough he hasn’t replied!!... Oh well I speak to him tomorrow!!
Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!! |

Fair play to Colchester. Well done. Couple of nights that their fans will never forget.

After tonights round of results we certainly weren't the only prem side to be embarrassed with an early cup exit this year! A shame Rochdale couldn't quite do it against United. The mighty Aaron Wilbraham and Calvin Andrew amongst their penalty scorers though.
