It could be said that he potentially saved a lot of lives in being an integral part of the peace process.

Indeed. Paisley and McGuiness were vital to the Good Friday agreement. Despite what went before, that act undoubtedly saved thousands of lives.

The likes of McGuiness and Adams (why isn't he dying a slow death yet?) were vital to the peace process because their politics of terrorism had nowhere else to go.

The fact he organised and raised three paramilitary loyalist groups inc one aimed at destabalising the good friday agreement. Look it up and see he was just another adams

In 1987 a psychology student named Leslie Jarvis was killed by the IRA. His 'crime' was to teach leatherwork to inmates in Magilligan Prison. The body of Jarvis was then used as bait, switching his briefcase with one with a bomb in it. When two policemen arrived on the scene, they were both blown to bits. McGuiness was in a house opposite watching everything [it is not recorded as to whether he had an orgasm or not] (source: the book 'Martin McGuiness: From Guns to Government').
It is remarkable that the same liberal left dupes who are repelled by manifestations of English nationalism coo over Irish equivalents - Jeremy Corbyn "a great family man".

The book referred to by Hedgehog is a black propaganda piece written by two journalists whether you believe any of it is entirely up to you but at £28 a go you might want to give it a miss.

Is McGuinness some sort of hero to you?

What is 'black propaganda'?
Are you seriously disputing the fact that Leslie Jarivs was murdered and his body used as a booby trap to kill two policemen? Was the media repoorting of it at the time 'black propaganda'. The self-delusion of you people beggars belief.

I think steeleye means maybe everything in the book, including martin mc watching over the road from a flat, might not be accurate, a false truth, to turn opinions on certain matters, and some people buy it every time, unfortunately..oh well,,,,,,,

An IRA 'volunteer' gave the authors the information. McGuiness denies it of course. As Mandy Rice-Davis said, "well he would wouldn't he". The 'man' was a degenerate pig.
