Kermit conveniently ignores the fact that a supposedly civilised country can think it is acceptable to throw a gay person off a cliff (ie going back to the Dark Ages) but bring to our attention a death threat uttered in this country which all normal people here think is totally unacceptable in this day and age.

I agree with your last 3 paragraphs completely. However your Saudi comment is whataboutery. Kermits comments are pertinent to this discussion. Although we can mention Saudis in relation to ISIS it isn't really pertinent when we are talking about threats to UK MP's.

The common theme here is extreme right wing views, be it Britain First types or extreme muslims. You probably have to be unhinged to be either too.

No Kermit's comments were about a death threat to an MP because he was Gay... not anything to do with this discussion at all. Quite rightly I have reminded him and anybody else, that in Saudi you don't get death threats for being Gay - you get DEATH in a very unpleasant fashion.
