Palace were brilliant today. The 5 new signings all look exceptional players. Viera clearly is making the very best of what the team have to offer. Guita didn’t have one shot to save ( except disallowed goal) despite all the possession city had. Things look really positive for palace. It’s just incredible they can be so different and better than Roy’s set up just a few months ago .

Olise's unselfish and practical play (no fancy tricks, finds a teammate) for the second goal is a joy to watch! And the celebration, a proper team player Absolutely. Olise is an absolute gem. Somehow you knew he wasn't going to balls it up when running towards the goal. He is confident, intelligent, and with bags of skill. Ayew, on the other hand, would have made a pigs ear of it.

Great result. City were terrible today but we really capitalised. Finally a bit of luck with the tight offside City goal. I have a £20 bet with a mate that Gallagher will get a England cap before the end of the season and it’s looker odds on now. Please can we now permanently drop Luka and Ayew. Kouyate and Olise are clear improvements. Olise is an assist machine. Already has 2. Should have had 3 last weekend. Special player!

A job that he was asked to do because Olise is not quite there yet. Give it a rest.

Today shows how far we have come in just 10 games. Look at the Spurs shambles under Levy / Nuno. I'm not sure Mr. Vieira had ant great say in our summer signings but boy, he aint 'alf making this squad work.

As I said earlier in this thread - look at Macarthur, last season he could barely last 90 mins, now he's playing for that time and at twice the pace! Whatever has changed on the training ground, they all seem faster, fitter and have more staying power - some of them seem positively rejuvenated (Ward?)
