Totally agree... Hodgson must really not rate Kelly in the slightest as he continues to play a centre midfielder as a centre half and Dann who, as much as I love him has not been premier league standard for quite some time.

I concur, whilst adding that Ward enters this category.
Two honest players who have been excellent servants to the club but time to say "Goodbye".

I thought Benteke was our heavy legged player until I saw Scott Dann. Blimey what a pair!

Very disappointed we didn’t get draw.

He got his line completely wrong on the approach. Then got the pass wrong.

Had he run to the left a bit it would have given both himself and Benteke more options. In fairness, it's not something he's used to.

Kouyate shouldn't had rushed in for the 1st goal. No need for that challenge.

Strangley, the ref told Benteke he couldn't compete for a drop ball before the second goal. That's not something a ref can tell a player, even if it is expected. I wonder what would have happened if Benteke had ignored the ref?

I want to be positive and perhaps only losing 2.1 is that? Our defending with Dads (Roy’s) Army is terrible and both goals we let in wouldn’t have happened a season or two back. And we wasted two gilt edge chances with Reidewald screwing up and then Benteke’s header straight at the keeper? Leicester were knackered after playing so many matches recently and we let them off the hook tonight. Hopefully our 38 points is good enough (I’m sure it is?) and that we replace this old squad for next season. It won’t be easy though and perhaps it’s our own fault for high paid contracts for many of this squad? Oh, and did anyone see Zaha after his goal as I thought he disappeared from the match after it?

Hodgsonball wasn't so bad in the first half.

Please remember how big our budget is compared to many. Also not sure that it totally Roy's fault that we have so many past it centre backs.

Perhaps Roy who sees these players in training daily, thinks that Kouyate is a better player than Kelly.

He may be blind, but that doesn't neccessarily make him a dinosaur.

Agreed Willo. They've both been fantastic servants but have not been good enough for the Premier league the last couple of seasons.

Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!!

I fear this season may be end in a similar manner to last season. We look stale and predictable. The opposition know exactly what to expect from us, and any side that plays half decently stand a very good chance of getting the 3 points.

As an aside, how much are we missing James McArthur right now?

Not much. Just another clogger in the guile-free zone that is the Palace midfield since Cabaye.

'Never mind, lads. Any injuries? No? Same starting eleven against City on Saturday then. Bring 'em on!'

I thought our back four played pretty well..

They snuffed out Vardy & Co for most of the match..

Total joke. He's exactly the energy and passion we're lacking at the moment. Not sure we've ever missed a player more while they've been out.

Think he’s a bit better than that. Probably a fair bit better than Mike Elwiss.

Do you mean the International centre back, who captains his country?
