Luka may have assisted our goal but his distribution was negative and nearly gave away a goal early on.

Guaita was excellent and Ward, Eze, Ayew & Reidewald impressed.

Overall a hard fought if somewhat fortunate point.

Considering Everton fighting for CL I thought it was a well deserved point and we may have nicked it at the end

Everton. Why does the second team of an unemployed kip like Liverpool seem to be so big, never relegated and always above many teams from bigger, and wealthier, places ?

Everton and Liverpool were both in the 2nd tier in the 1950's. The only team never to be relegated from the top division are Arsenal, unfortunately.

Stone me! I agree with you. What's going on?

Your hatred of Jairo is getting tiresome now. He was far better than Luka today

I agree with you. Very strange comment, Jairo showed for the ball constantly and played good passes into space, Luka, as sad as it is, has lost it. Jairo all day long

Goal assist was Schlupp. Luka was f***ing useless yet again. He always wants a few extra seconds on the ball which you don’t get in the PL. He is losing the ball because teams actually do their homework and can see he can be caught in possession. When the Macs are back he should be 4th choice central midfielder.

Other than that we played pretty well. Offered a decent attacking threat and deserved the equaliser in the end.

The change of having Eze in the middle, giving him more opportunity to create and us to start controlling the ball, was key.

Eze is clearly such a class act and in my opinion with him in the middle pulling strings for the likes of Schlupp, Bats, Zaha, Townsend and Ayew roaming around and moving defenders about is our best chance of progression.

My only hope is that Roy has the same view however Mr Cautious will no doubt start the next game 4-4-2.

Game quite even with the toffees edging it. Our equaliser sounded fair.

BBC summary all Everton and our goal against run of play.

I defend the beeb elsewhere but their football coverage is so top team partisan.

They only had the better opportunities because they didn't procrastinate when they arrived, we were the team doing most of the pressing and the draw was definitely a fair result, I wanted to shake our players up to make them realise the great situation they were in and to not to let it pass by being so wasteful, we were soooooo wasteful!

That was a really good game to watch, how good is Eze he absolutely glides around the pitch.

I feel you're being a bit unfair, you could see how irritated he was by our determination to throw away all our good passing and movement and at times control of Everton ..I still feel he's being let down by some of our players.
