Well, there we go. Not pretty but job done, not just today but for the season probably.

So, who's up for another year of the same then?!

Like many, I am rather glad we haven't been able to witness our sclerotic football first hand this season. Then again, with a crowd down their necks perhaps the players might have shown more ambition and energy.

It will be interesting to see the uptake of season tickets for 2021/2020. We certainly aren't "marketing" ourselves very well.

Like most fans I'd rather see a crap performance and a win than a good performance and a defeat, but this is so hard to watch. However, surely we are now on the cusp of safety.

Much to the annoyance of football fans.

It was hardly a scintillating watch but in the final analysis we 'ground out' a victory against a limited team and I am absolutely delighted.

Another year of this and we are down without any doubt, we cannot be so fortunate again with so many games falling our way, we have no ability to pass, no ability to hold onto the ball, we have no clue about how to press and we have no idea how to run off the ball and I don't blame our manager one bit for this, the majority of our squad are simply not good enough.

Loads of injured midfielders does not help and of course Having s*** players like Riedewald to replace them.

Ffs how did he get a 3 year contract

I would guess he got a contract because he can pass a ball, has composure, can dribble, can tackle, is probably fitter than everyone on here, played at Ajax for years so knows how football should be played, can play most positions on the pitch, happy on the ball anywhere on the pitch, takes the pressure off his teammate with a pass that is the correct speed and on the floor more times than not .. if you’d prefer someone else recommendations welcome

What you would call a solid team performance. We never really looked threatened and we never really got out of first gear. Brief glimpses of what our front players can do when we keep possession, but WBA did quite well at fouling our players repeatedly to break things up.

On that note, how did WBA finish the game without a booking?

Furlong got booked for handling, but I take your point.

Poor game. I'll take the win though, surprisingly West Brom didnt see that up for it.

We won the game, we sit mid-table, we are virtually safe with 9 games to go.

Congratulations and Well done Roy and the team.
