It’s like Groundhog Day after every match at the moment. Wilf has a poor game and someone posts that it’s time he went. Then someone leaps to his defence saying he’s been a great servant and we’re lucky to have him. Someone else points out he’s on a massive salary and the next post says he deserves to go to a bigger club to fulfill his potential. It’s getting boring and hopefully he’ll be off soon and we can move on. If he stays any longer he will ruin his legacy as one of our best.

I’d love him to stay but I would also think he has no ambition if he wanted to stay with us, he has a few decent years left and his career is done. To be honest the thoughts of him leaving doesn’t upset me like it used to because Iv got so used to his bad performances.

I am a bit bemused by Roy’s comments “ That we cant make Zaha like Palace” On Sky sports. My answer to that is “Yes you can “ it’s all about style of play, ambition in moving forward signing players and building a team around its playing strengths. If a, or player/s love playing with a team It gels you get the best out of the them.

You just can't help yourself, can you ? If the beer was flat in the Red and Blue Bar ( actually I've heard it is ), you would blame Hodgson. Wilf had an excellent season last year. Then he wanted to leave and was effectively prevented from doing so by Parish's valuation. This season, he has been way below par and at times didn't look interested. In fact you could argue that had Zaha upped his game, we may have got a few more points on the board.

I don’t agree we would have gone down without him this season. Should have been sold end of last year at full value and replaced with Sarr or Saint Maximin and we would have still had plenty of change. Now I don’t think anyone will pay more than £30-£40m for him and we will need every bit of that just to get the centre forward we require.

I agree, only we only received Arsenal’s £45 mil was it offer spread over 7 transfer windows. If we were offered £60-65 mil I’d have accepted it. Otherwise I completely agree. But even then there’s Parish probably worried we’re losing AWB and Zaha down one side in one transfer window.
