Thoughts from today.
Zaha badly missed
Without Zaha we are a very different team
Lots of our players are championship level.
We were awful.
Cahill should be skipper.
Our tactics were hopeless.
Derby fans sang us out the ground.
Ayew is class. Pierrick good potential.
Wickham championship level.
Kelly should play in middle.
Luka needs the break and needs help.
Townsend missed.
Easy to say but we should look for more squad rotation. Roy obviously stuck on this one. But he is very staid. However he is working wonders for us.
We need more players. The board really needs to take action
The White Horse has way better facilities than the Arthur.
Arthur season tickets should be cheaper!!
Why close the Arthur for home fans today?

Derby are not that bad especially with that Rooney raining balls left right and centre ..he is actually what we need lol, yes Kelly kept losing our pressure as did Meyer who was equally as bad with his control and especially so with his shielding of the ball (Riedewald please show him how it's done!) Wickham is just very rusty and to suggest otherwise is ridiculous.
Ward is a million times better in Kelly's place who is himself a million times better a bit more to the left.

However he was fouled 5 times in the first 10 minutes, out of a total of 8. Why did Oliver not produce a yellow card?

Was optimistic before the game when I saw the team with only one inexperienced player included.
Very disappointed with the performance subsequently and also to go out of the cup with a whimper.
We looked jaded and lacking ideas.
No creativity and pedestrian in midfield and a lack of pace and zip in the wide areas to get behind their defence.
Another goalless game from us and we’re so easy to defend against.
Yes there are injuries, but our team should have been strong enough to beat at home a mediocre Championship team who played games on Monday and Thursday during the week.
We can’t even claim to be unlucky as they deserved their win.

Well put, absolutely agree with you :-(

A probable thrown result, in the sense that it avoids further unnecessary game time for a crocked squad, with the added bonus for Hodgson of being able to give someone else the captain's armband other than the totally misfiring Milo.

Absolutely spot on.
It was a hard watch, and there cannot be any positives to take from our abject performance.

Derby are 3rd from bottom in terms of away results in the Championship. They have only won 1 of their 12 away games and that was the first game of the season at Huddersfield, but we barely laid a glove on them at our home ground.

Ayew tried hard and the kid looked ok when he was on the ball which was far too infrequently unfortunately. All in all it was a turgid performance.

I am not surprised by that result and it was much to be expected, Roy couldn’t give a monkeys about the cup and our Premiership status is what counts.

Our injury list and suspensions are starting to bite now, so I am thankful for the 28 points we have mustered so far...

Well done Derby you deserved the win...

'Ayew is class. Pierrick good potential.'

I thought these two were the only ones to emerge with much credit from that. We lacked pace, width and creativity. I don't mind losing but the performance was really poor.

if Roy doesn't care for the cup why did he pick such a strong side?
