You give a dressing down to egalitarian professionally offended thought police when some speak out against this prejudice and abusive bigot attacking a man for his identity. yet when a black man like Ali holds a view back in the civil right era you angrily shout from the top of houses and tell us how abhorrent his race beliefs are and the injustice of it all that people dont speak out. Pot meet kettle. You really can't compare what is politically correct in England in 2016 with commonly held beliefs 50 years ago in a foreign country

If a man gloats about viewing others unequality he should not throw toys from the pram when the favour is returned.

What I love about London is its high level of tolerance. And I think we in South London possibly more than most. We will even tolerate boozed up morons spouting nonsense until they get genuinely abusive. This guy was so horrible to all and sundry that he needed putting in his place. That was done. Score one to the Palace. Just as Eddie said. And I genuinely believe Stirlingsays would have been one of the 'thought Police' had he been around during the incident. It's probably rather more the tone of the post-event criticism that bugs him. Each to their own. Nothing more to see here.

I hope any decent man would.. i am not perfect a man dressed in feminine ways is something that is noticed but we must not shout down tolerance and decency that results in morons being put in their place. Eddie has it right in feeling proud of the club for his defenders. there is always the odd bad apple Edited by blackpalacefan (09 Jun 2016 5.05pm)

Izzard knew that by walking through Wembley dressed as a women he would get attention and that is what he received. The trouble is when you seek attention you don’t always get the kind you hoped for.

How many f*cking times. He wasn't dressed as a woman and there is no sign he was looking for attention (on this occasion). Do keep up Tom.

But the link at the start of this thread clearly shows him dressed to the nines as some middle aged housewife wearing bright pink lipstick, a stupid broach and a Palace top below his coat. Now you may be OK with this but this isn't really the image I would wish for our club. Cant help but think that he has brought this on himself.

Izzard does not invite aggression and threats upon himself in wearing a sparkly broach and lipstick just as a woman in no way invites threats of rape by wearing a short skirt. We do not need burka "dress as i say or else" mentalities here thankyou.
