Great day for the bookies. City would have been on alot of accas, as would Leicester. Forest, Reading looked bankers and plenty would have been on Orient

Real Madrid went 2-0 up on 25 mins so I covered the overall stake due to be returned with the Burnley/Madrid -1 double by backing Villa Real +2 at 8/1. EDIT: 30 seconds after posting message it's 2-1. Edited by Rudi Hedman (08 Feb 2014 7.43pm)

Throwing a few darts at the coupon might be a good strategy this midweek. Could probably catch an upset or 2. However, I may go with: LEYTON ORIENT 10/11 v Bristol City WATFORD 4/5 v Birmingham There is also PORT VALE 11/10 v Colchester where I expect PV will probably turn it around, but I think I'd rather go with Watford and LOFC. Colchester are 27/10 & draw is 13/5.

Think Villa and West Ham are worth considering as singles tonight. Villa's away record is very good, and Cardiff were very fortunate to beat a poor Norwich side last time they were at home. 2/1. West Ham seem to be gaining some momentum, and should be too good for Norwich, especially at home. 11/10 seems very generous IMO.

Leeds could be worth a punt - won their last 2 and have a good record at Brighton, have a fully fit squad and McMormack is on fire - can get 3/1 with some bookies - overpriced? Fleetwood should win at Wycombe (Wycombe are piss poor) Edited by Pussay Patrol (11 Feb 2014 6.18pm)
