I think Villa can get something at Everton. Everton haven't beaten Villa at Goodison in the last 7. Villa's last 2 away was a win at Sunderland and a decent 2-2 at Liverpool, in their last match they beat WBA 4-2 after being 2 goals down. Lukaku is injured and Everton were thrashed at Liverpool

For this one, laying Everton is about the same as betting on win & draw separate, possibly about 2% better. Double chance is a bit worse than separates.

What about Brentford? Unstoppable - will surely make light work of Shrewsbury?

Wigan + Brentford is around 7/4

I agree on Wigan. It's probably the 1st and concrete selection. Good form, carrot of 6th. Haven't ahd a chance to play many home games, keen to give it to someone.

Not sure about Brentford away all the way over to Shrews, comfortable in the league, Shrews needing to start find some points somewhere. Others available.

Wigan, Wolves, Fleetwood, Alfreton(are 1/3 short).

Rochdale? Dagenham are truly awful away, however, I know you like them.

Second placed and in form Clyde 7/4 to beat 7th placed Berwick....at home. And they've already beaten them twice this season. wtf is going on there?

Clyde are actually longer. Best price 19/10 and Berwick are 7/5. Draw is 13/5.

Pretty equal form and Berwick have just spanked Albion FC & Stirling FC. It might look like a good price, but is it a likely outcome?

I had an acca f*** up because Inverness Cali lost to Partick. Game swung on not capitalising on chances, a red card, conceding 2 mins after red card, and that was the top league.

What's really swung Wigan for me is Charlton sold their main creative attacking player to Bournemouth yesterday - Kermogant.

Brentford could be a bit dodgy as they will slip up having won so many recently but with Shrews having lost the last 4, 6 of the last 7, conceded 11 goals in those 4 defeats and with a rookie manager in charge - they are surely lambs to the slaughter. Brentford haven't got any injury problems either.

Done: Wigan & Chesterfield 9/4.

Nearly did Wolves instead of Chesterfield.

Alfreton v Hyde is off.

Berwick 2-0 up after 20mins. Something not right about this. Bookies must have had some knowledge about something. Since when are 2nd placed teams at home such outsiders against mid-table sides? Nearly 2/1?? I smell a fish in the Clyde River area.

Farkin 'ell. Chesterfield in control from the off. Charlton go 0-1 up in 3rd minute. Wigan dominate for most of it. Because of the relentless pressure, put some one the draw at 9/2 on 85mins. Goal kick 1 min later. 5/1. Wigan score in the 88th, then the winner in the 90th. 9/4 double wins.

Villa were worth a draw, brilliant free kick won it for Everton.

Brentford conceded in the 90th minute.
