I couldn't watch the match so had to follow on the BBC website - why is it so slow?? - and they were asking who the most underrated EPL player was - usual suspects including some eejit thinking Zaha the most overrated - but IMO Vincente Guaita gets my vote!

Always remembering walking from the Holmesdale to the Whitehorse end at half time!

Hate is a bit strong a word. Luka made lots of mistakes today but he has a role to play when he is paired with someone half decent. Every single game just passes Jairo by.

He appears to run out of puff in the second half.

I think someone was carded in the scuffle.

Your hatred of Jairo is getting tiresome now. He was far better than Luka today

With you on this, I can’t think of a pass he miss placed all game. He retains possession and is very confident on the ball, may have turned his back on the goal but it was a great finish. I think he’s massively underrated, he ain’t in the team to produce defence splitting passes but has chipped in this season with a couple of goals.
Luka was the weak link in midfield imo.
God point.

Overall good point
Defensively sloppy but performance was much improved than average.
Guita kept us in it for large spells though...

We kept possession really well yes but we are pants with what to do with the ball in both penalty areas and although Everton looked dangerous every time they got into our box we looked much more promising moving forward then they did, this game highlighted all our problems very well.

Luca set up our goal. I thought he played well.

Agree, Jairo decent today, Luka is past it, happens to everyone eventually

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

Nothing on the BBC or Sky about it being anything serious. No cards listed against our players

Game quite even with the toffees edging it. Our equaliser sounded fair.

BBC summary all Everton and our goal against run of play.

I defend the beeb elsewhere but their football coverage is so top team partisan.

Luka may have assisted our goal but his distribution was negative and nearly gave away a goal early on.

Guaita was excellent and Ward, Eze, Ayew & Reidewald impressed.

Overall a hard fought if somewhat fortunate point.
