Like most fans I'd rather see a crap performance and a win than a good performance and a defeat, but this is so hard to watch. However, surely we are now on the cusp of safety.

Only positives are the win and a clean sheet. 11th. on the table (are you kidding!). 2 cautions in injury time for time wasting, piss poor.

Steve get planning now. All we have to do is sign Mee, Tarkowski and Maddison, we will be Europa league (and then I woke up)

Boring as f@ck.

Have better stuff to do with my life than watch that sh@te next season.

Don’t care if we go down. Rather spin the bottle and see where We could go.

More to football than just staying up every year without breaking in to top half of the table.

Thank God we held on for the three points even if we did not deserve them, we certainly need another point at least to be sure we are safe due to our poor goal difference. Hopefully Benteke will be allowed to go in the summer but it looks like Roy wants to keep him saying in press today he has improved a lot, his last 35 home games have produced one gaol, I do not think he has improved at all and I would prefer to see a more mobile and quicker striker who can cause havoc by attacking the defence with or without the ball Benteke just has no real floor skills or football brain that anticipation where the ball may go!

What you would call a solid team performance. We never really looked threatened and we never really got out of first gear. Brief glimpses of what our front players can do when we keep possession, but WBA did quite well at fouling our players repeatedly to break things up.

On that note, how did WBA finish the game without a booking?

Well, there we go. Not pretty but job done, not just today but for the season probably.

So, who's up for another year of the same then?!

Safety yes is Roy’s redemption and no doubt Parish will be singing his praises No game for 3 weeks so now is the time for some forward thinking - sort out players contracts and take positive steps with view to next season

That was not nice and easy, it was painfully fortunate ..if their chap hadn't handled the ball in the most obvious and ridiculous way we'd not have scored ourselves, Benteke missed our best opportunity to score by holding onto the ball when he should've just shot at the first opportunity and with the whole goal to aim for with no one near him why he waited and waited until a West Brom played challenged him I'll never know or understand, we were absolutely embarrassing today how can a football team be so f***ing dysfunctional

Clinging on for the points at home to what is essentially a Championship side. Probably the 2 worst footballing teams in the division. Early wins against Man U and Southampton, together with lucking out at Brighton will likely see us up this year.

Need a massive upgrade this summer before our luck runs out.
