Decent point and Solid team performance against an in form team. Guita didn’t have a save to make.

Our finishing let us down as we had the much better chances.

McCarthur and Luka were immense in midfield. They got through a serious amount of work and didn’t put a foot wrong.

4 saves from Vicente from memory but all straight at him. Restricted them well tonight. Good performance.

Shame if we hadn't run out of legs second half we could have nicked that

Felt Ayew really ballsed that chance up at the end, although the following corner was poor too!!

Great defensive and midfield work, lacked the finishing capability.

Decent point with a solid display. Created some nice chances in the first half and defended well second half.

Best performance in a while from the central midfielders today. Luka and Macca worked hard. Shame we didn't put any of our chances away but a point was probably a fair result.

Easy 3pts against City next

So let’s have a look.

Tompkins hit the bar.

Benteke had an excellent chance that he blazed over the bar, he also had a great header that the keeper pulled off a top save, and another half chance that hit the target.

Then we had numerous chances on the break that we should have done better with,

So that to me sounds like a bit more than a defensive performance,

Where did you watch the game? Ceefax ?

Is Ceefax still going?

You're an easy man to please clearly, and perhaps you're very grateful to be in the PL. Don't let the fact that the point came against Arsenal temper your expectations of Palace. Had the result come at home to West Brom would you still be as jubilant?

Point is Arsenal were there for the taking. Palace had two chances, yes, but they had many more opportunities on the break to do serious damage to Arsenal and failed. Basic passing let us down.

Sky Sports going on about how flat and under par Arsenal were. It would be nice if they gave us a bit of credit for stopping them from playing.

I really don’t know what you expect. A point away from home against one of the “ big six” is something we should all be very pleased with. This is Palace we’re talking about not Man. Utd.

Should have done Arsenal tonight, we just needed a bit more control in midfield and we would have nicked it...

Good point, dire game. We remain the team in the PL nobody wants to watch.

There'll be a referendum to vote us out of the PL if we don't get relegated.

But we got a point, cant argue with that.

Weird logic. Obviously we're going to be more pleased with a point against a 'big six' club than the second worst side in the league. Not sure what your point is there.

We could have won tonight and, as always, poor finishing let us down but I was fully expecting to lose so to dominate the game and come away slightly disappointed with a point is heartening to say the least.

We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold...
