This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |

Who needs the police when you have the Hol members acting like judge and jury. I hope you all have lived perfect lives. What is there to defend, he has admitted he was present and apologised which is sooooo easy to do. I sincerely hope that he does get prosecuted. A grave error of judgment on Roy’s part.

I'd normally agree that there is far too much trial by social media around, and that misinformation, presumption and hypocrisy are never far from the surface. In this case though, I think supporters are entitled (perhaps duty-bound?) to make their feelings known, if only to apply some pressure to the club to act. As the old saying (soft of) goes: To err is human, but to party indoors with an opponent whose club has been rampant with covid, then keep quiet about it and go to training the next day risking the health (and possibly life) of others is the act of a c**t.

So he's apologized like all of the other PL footballers caught out. Seems to me that our hugely rewarded heroes have such an embedded sense of entitlement that they can't accept they they need to comply with the same rules as the punters. Sorry I despise 'em.
I have now sufficient funds to last me the rest of my life. Provided I don't buy anything. |
