I would find it just as boring to watch Brighton pass it backwards and sideways for ages as I do watching us sit back. The difference between last week and today was that today we carried a constant and regular threat on the break.

I do understand, but it's better to win the game, even if we do concede possession, so let's all be happy!

Riedewald is rapidly becoming my favourite player. I thought he was the one bright point from last week and was excellent today. Agreed. It's amazing how much you can like a player who is confident in possession and more often than not finds a teammate with a pass. A decent performance today against a pretty weak team. Quite a few positives though, 2 nicely worked goals with nice displays from Wilf, Andros and Jairo. Kouyate solid again at CB. Eze is such an enjoyable player to watch let's hope he can work his way into the team. Good to see PVA back and glad Clyne came through okay after not playing a prem game in a long time. Feel a bit better after the game today compared to last week... just wish we'd keep possession a little bit better - our ability to give it away when under no pressure is truly staggering at times! We only drew 1-1 at Norwich last year, Tyrick's debut I believe, and it was cold

Low percentage possession stats but effective when we did have it, showed a bit more fight and great to see the midfield linking up with the attack for Jairo’s goal. Andros, Jairo, Wilf all excellent today.

As for possession, on its own it's a meaningless stat as this game clearly shows. We looked to be dominant and yet didn't hold possession much. A good win all round. Interested to see if this holds up when we play teams farther up the table.

Possession is a pointless stat, Fulham had plenty but did nothing with it, just passed sideways constantly, they scored from speculative shot from outside the box. We looked threatening everytime we went forward.

That is always a good test of where we are. It is also equally important that we beat the teams that are likely to be around us in the bottom half of league and today, thank ''GOD'', we did that

People get too hung up on stats sometimes.
