The annoying thing about this goal was just the timing because Zaha had absolutely nobody near him to put him off, either the ball should've been played earlier or Zaha turned slower and it would still have been the same outcome, we created so many great goal scoring opportunities it was quite frankly stupid by the end could very easily have been five or six because they had no answer at all, very unlike Man.U performance created by our players making them that way ..not what the coms say.

VAR has not improved it is even more ridiculous.

We are bound to be on the receiving end sometimes but let's be happy with a very special deserved Palace win.

Great result yesterday and I only just got to see the match on Sunday morning. I had us down to win and this is the reason why. The 2 x Man Utd central defenders, I have never seen Maguire have a good game against us, whether he has a Hull City, Leicester City or Man Utd shirt on. Vastly over rated and I am still amazed they paid 80 million for him.

He is slow, gets caught out of position time and again and against Wilf leading the attack up front, he stood no chance. Wilf had him on toast from the off. As for the Norwegian fella with the tats, he is hopeless.

But yesterday was our day and we thoroughly deserved the win, but of course it was United that lost it... blah blah blah...

Enjoyable game to watch, fantastic result. I have to say before we get too carried away however, that is the worst back 4 in a Man Utd team I have ever seen. We could have, perhaps even should have scored 5 or 6.

I think the most enjoyable aspect of the game was that they struggled to break us down at the back. I thought Kouyate and Sakho were superb and McCarthy had his best game for us.

A small point about the penalty .. if I'd been asked before yesterday whether it was allowable for a different player to step up to take a retaken penalty I would have guessed that the answer would be no.

So I learned something new!

I am wondering, did Wilf take it upon himself to take the ball off Ayew for the retake, or did Jordan volunteer to relieve himself of the retake?

UPDATE - OK _ I've just listened to Roy's post match interview and it was him who told Ayew to give it to someone else to take.

Just shows you even strikers can miss penalties, yet some clown on here wanted Hennessey "hung drawn and quartered" for missing a penalty against B'mouth!!!
