Clearly Mr Parish decided that decisive action needed to be taken.

And as we all know that despite losing the first 7 PL games without scoring a single goal, Hodgson steered us to an 11th place position which was some feat in the circumstances.

There's engineering change within whilst knowing the culture (eg Arteta currently at Arse) & then there's coming in like a bull in a china shop & sticking 2 fingers up to the current m.o. & trying to force change through (FdB)

FdB's quick sacking is one of Parish's better decisions IMHO.

What's Popovic doing now?

Seem to remember he was touted at one point in the past...seems to still be ripping it up in the A League..

Dysche will 100% be our first choice. A shoestring manager with a fantastic, relevant track record. £7m a year would still be worth it. And it wouldn't take £7m a year to get him.

Utterly Palace.

Eddie Howe would be brilliant - whoever it is needs Zaha money plus to rebuild squad

How much will that be? The highest offer last summer was £44m, with no bids in January. On current form I can't see a queue forming round the block in the summer, especially at the sort of money Parish wants.

No way would someone like Sean Dyche come here as he is the manager at Burnley in complete control of all footballing matters.

Why would he swap that for a job titled "manager" but really nothing more than a coach apparently having little say in the composition of his squad and working for a club that gives the appearance of being skint

Dyche was interviewed before De Boer and failed. He won't come again!

What's his next career move?

Btw, I'm not saying he'll be a certainty but he'll be our 1st choice. And I just think we'll succeed

Certainly not the current mess that Palace is. I can't see anyone wanting the job, barring the terminally desperate.
