Reckon you're all massively underestimating the possibility of Roy signing another one year contract if we grind out enough 1-0 wins to stay up.

I’d have the scouting department. They don’t have an academy. Just pick off the best ones released from others. Very smart club

I actually liked Quique Sánchez Flores and thought he was unfortunate to be thrown out after performing well in his first spell at Watford and then being thrown into chaos in his second spell. Bournemouth played some good football under Howe but I just really dislike the man. He has a face like a smacked ar$e. Dyche seems made for Palace and he comes across very well. He would unlikely bring sexy football, but he would fit the Palace mould of plucky underdogs and seems capable of getting the best out of limited resources. We'd probably have to pay a big settlement to get him out of Burnley though (even if he was interested).

Pochettino and Allegri are not doing anything if they fancy slumming it for a season or two More likely we'd go in for Hughes if Roy did step aside, given we went for him before (God that's not worth thinking about).

Eddie Howe

Once noted as one of the best young managers who has now seemingly gone cold and needed time to reset. Defensively Bournemouth were awful, but I think he could get us our attacking juices flowing.

Sean Dyche

As close to Roy as we could likely get, but maybe just that little bit more fluid in his approach. Would seem to me to be the next step in transition for us. He was interested before and think he would be first choice.

Alex Neil

I liked him at Norwich but took them straight back down. Did a cracking job at Preston last year and is an outside option I'd like us to look at. Young and full of ideas, just what we need.

Slaven Bilic

West Brom have just come up and unlikely we would grab him away, but I've always enjoyed his passion and honesty. I think he'd be great for us and once again, provide some attacking football to be proud of. Premier League and also now Championship experience, a great fit.

Steven Gerrard

I think we'd struggle to get him out of Rangers, but I think is a name I'd love to us linked with. A winner with undeniable passion, but yet unproven. Perhaps a gamble too far at this stage.

Gareth Southgate

Perhaps not the best choice at the moment and I doubt he'd leave England, but would be an option I'd explore at the least.

Marco Silva

Once rumoured to be joining before Everton, he hasn't provided much evidence he can do it just yet. A sexy name but perhaps worth another gamble, not for me but just an idea.

Slavisa Jokanovic

Once again, another we were always linked with. Great style at Fulham but perhaps didn't cut it in the PL or maybe the board signed the players for him, who knows. I liked him.

Roberto Martinez

Perhaps he'd want another shot at the Premier League with his ageing Belgium squad looking less likely to win anything. Superb at Wigan and fairly steady at Everton, although ultimately underachieved. I wouldn't be against him as an option to unlock our attack.

LADISLAU BOLONI-free agent, Champion of Portugal with a team that hardly ever takes the league before Porto and Benfica (Sporting Lisbon), Champion of Belgium with a team that hardly ever takes the league (Standard Liege), took almost relegated Antwerp from Belgium and finished with them in sdcond place in the league and went into the European Cups.

As a player, Champions League winner in 1986. Speaks French, English, Italian, a little Russian, Hungarian, Romanian etc.

I reckon it'll be Dyche at which I'll be pretty satisfied.

No. was "up and coming", but all style Over substance. cant organise a defence

"as Close to Roy as we Could likley Get" - but I'd say too close to Roy. the perfect excuse for SP to continue doing wht were doing. If We were to cange manager, we need more of a change.

Alex Neil

Interesting choice, but can't see our owners putting their faith in someone who hasn't quite got the Credentials (yet)

Good shout, love him As a manager, But again, not sure our Lot would put faith in him. He relegated West ham, and not quite proved himself elsewhere (yet!)

Steven Gerrard

Agree, but this is the type of person I'd like s to be linked with.

Gareth Southgate

No, no and No again.

Marco Silva

Once rumoured to be joining before Everton, he hasn't provided much evidence he can do it just yet. A sexy name but perhaps worth another gamble, not for me but just an idea.

Want to Rate him, but except for 1 vaguely good season at Hull, has underachevied everywhere he's gone here.

Slavisa Jokanovic

Deserves another crack at the PL, but with us? cant see it.

Roberto Martinez

I can bizarrely see this happenning (if he wants a return to the PL) has everything our board appear to want - pretty successful in The PL, big name, big fanfare. big wages!

Some interesting names there - added my thoughts...

Though I would add someone mentioned elsewhere - Thomas Frank.

I just cant see us moving on from RH - he's doing exactly what the board want - keeping us in The division (albeit only just).

He won't be sacked unless were in the bottom 3 At xmas, and even then I'm not sure SP will have the nerve to sack him.
