The cocktail of drugs were probably all constipation cures as Elvis colon was rammed with part-digested burger meat.

Burger meat digests a bit more easily due to it being made of mince, but someone told me that he had a penchant for steak and ate loads of it. The partially digested steak made him extremely constipated. Edited by Part Time James (23 Nov 2016 12.13pm)

I wasn't mad on REM but saw them live at Glastonbury and have to say they were rather good. REM are a bit like The Cure in some regards - They've got such a wide body of work, that it tends to be 'which incarnation or era' you like rather than everything they've done.

Kate Bush's version is much better. I think in general this is probably true of many 'classic Elton' tracks, which isn't good for Elton John, as the songs are written by someone else. Everything you need to know about Elton John's music is summed by the 're-releasing a memorial song for someone, as a memorial song for someone else' F**k off, if you care, write something original, don't just change a few f**king words. That's like crossing out 'Happy Birthday' on a card and writing 'With Sympathy for your Loss'

Edited by Part Time James (23 Nov 2016 12.13pm) By all accounts he also had a penchant for prescription pain killers, which around that era would have been opioid, side effects of which are constipation. Should probably have added laxido to his horror meals

Well actually, I don't mean to contradict for the hell of it, but a lot of the bands here I could quite happily listen to "The Greatest Hits" (spanning their entire career) but not so keen on any album. REM, The Cure, The Smiths, Metallica...I'd probably love all of their greatest hits albums, but to listen to album filler by any of these bands would probably do my head in. Apart from Bloodflowers by The Cure, I enjoyed all of that.

TBH I don't think REM are actually sh1t. They are a fine collection of musicians with a just tolerable pretentious singer.

Unintentionally hilarious. Kate Bush's best album is her first one, The Kick Inside. The next two are pretty good and the Hounds Of Love is mostly great.
