Shame Cameron chose to use £9M of the taxpayer's money to print and distribute his work of fiction rather than putting his hand in his pocket? My parents and grandparents are a combination of english, scottish and irish heritage.... but I doubt that your european heritage has meant you are no more of a drain on resources than I am. But this debate is about the future not the past. My analogies are clearly too simplistic and direct for your economic mindset... I probably should have included words like Median, Mode, Amortisation and Accrual to stimulate your brain receptors. I did blame the government - Blair's decision to waive the 7 year amnesty on Polish immigrants if you remember. The economic argument is far from done. As I pointed out to you, these eminent economists supporting the remain argument are the same ones that supported the Euro over the Pound and their warnings back then were as groundless as they are now and history has proved them to be wildly wrong. 1) This would be an unorthodox way of attempting to appear "edgy" or "cool". Ill stick to my flannel shirts and vinyl collections if thats alright. 2) Booklet is fully factchecked here - no inaccuracies or mistakes [Link] 3) precisely, we live in a globalised and increasingly globalising world where challenged faced are inherently multinational. Systems like the EU help resolve them, or at the very least provide a framework within in which issues can be attempted to be hold diplomatically rather than in Flanders Fields. 4) Good try, median and mode are low level maths concepts (probably primary school year 4/5 level) and are rarely looked at, they are commonly of little use. Again, good try "Amortisation and Accrual" are really more accounting terms and I don't study that. 5) blame them again and on other issues theyve failed upon. Austerity is killing public services, not enough houses are being built and have cost each household £4,000 since 2010 6) Polish immigrants who have a largely positive contribution to society: create jobs and provide for the taxman. Also as they are younger help support the increasingly agin population. Provide vital services in our country like nurses and doctors, firefighters etc. 7) Please stop kidding yourself. There little/no truly reliable and impartial empirical nor theoretic support that in any way we could be economically stronger in the short or long run for leaving. 8 ) Could I have a list of these please. Can't just have you saying that said we should join the Euro unchallenged. I said I had no idea if he was for or against joining the Euro, if you have evidence otherwise please fill me in. I regret engaging with you as the experience is one I would liken to wading through treacle nailing jelly to the ceiling whilst conversing with Janet Street-Porter. I'll retire to enjoy the Test Match this afternoon and then prepare my flags for tomorrow's epic encounter with Manure.

Why should I have to do your research for you?

Migrants spark housing crisis: Now EU tells Britain to build more homes as open borders send population soaring We've had a housing crisis for about 15-20 years (I'd say at least since 1995), and before that it was a housing problem for five years or so. Unless these are special time travelling migrants, all they've done is exacerbate an existing problem. The housing crisis is and always has been the fault of the state for failing to regulate and control the spiralling housing market and rental markets for fear of being unpopular. If anything, a large portion of British citizens who bought to let are massively benefitting from the migration by renting properties. And likely as not, many are avoiding declaring those properties and income.

Somalis in the UK are generally not here under migration laws, most of the UK Somali population would have been granted refuge under the Asylum laws (given the total instability of their home nation and its frequent outbursts of genocide. I'm sure you don't believe that we should be refusing people political refuge and asylum?

Sorry, Hoof I'm actually quite shocked you wrote that about the experience of your relative at Bristol Maternity Hospital. I think it quite disgraceful that in this day and age, and the nature of the football team and presumably country you support, the colour of a baby's skin could determine it's nationality. Frankly it's disgusting and I'm not afraid to say it.
