Betting in time.
August last season I bet £10 on us to go up outright and £10 just to go up. First at 250 to 1 - DF's fault - and second at 80 to 1 (=£810 win) This season recently put £10 on us to get top ten,. Also 80 to 1. I'm not a betting man, but manage £20 a season..

Need a bit of help, was planning (should have done it much earlier) to put a bet on Man City winning all their remaining home games in Premier League, cannot figure out how to get all the fixtures listed on PaddyPower, any ideas or is just going to the bookies and asking best

I stand corrected. However, that is an incredibly tight price. It works out around 1/8 per game which is farcical. I'd definitely still back it game by game.

That 5/2 price isn't worth it. For a long-term bet you'd think you'd put more money on it. 5/2? Plenty of bets around to end up better than 5/2 at the end of them all. Why stake it on a 4 monther?

Even doing it game by game....Backing Man City on a single win every game at 1/8 is potentially pointless. e.g - If you put £10 on you'll have to win 8 times without losing once. If you lose once (man City draw or lose) before the 8th, you've lost money, so what was the point? Put some proper money on and you'll feel a complete fool. All that when there's other stuff going on.

You can get 2 Man City fixtures and do an acca but still going to be sh1t odds. Maybe 3 fixtures but still likely to be sh1t.

If you look down the leagues there are other hot teams winning plenty of games with better odds. Luton for a start.

Maybe doing ONE of the 2 strikers to score 1st and Man City to win on a single game by game but I don't know the odds.

Quick question Kermit.......in the Scottish Championship are Hamilton worrying you at all?

It's a tight one to be sure. The only reason I discarded them was their run in compared to Dundee's. Not as easy going by their form so far. They will probably be top at the weekend but i'm not expecting it to last.

Plus - what if City win the title with games to spare? They take their foot off the gas in the last few matches especially if there's cup finals or Champions league games

All good points... think I may have missed the boat on this one, It got mentioned that Man City are 100% at home so far and I really cant see them even drawing at home to anyone (bar the champions league game) with the amount they score, and to think the Palace came closest to upsetting their 100% home record. I prob won't bother now just wanted to get a feeling of if there was any value.. maybe there was at the start of the season it would have basically been a 20 home banker acca... I just feel Man City will make some history this season. When's the last time any team went 100% at home all season? Arsenal invincibles season?

I think you misread what I said Rudi. I'm not the one who wants to back it and my point was that 5/2 is far too short for what that bet entails. The guy asked how he could back City to win each of their remaining 9 home games and I was saying that 5/2 quote only works out at an average of 1/8 per game whereas if he's determined to do it he would get far better value backing it on a weekly basis with an accumulating stake, especially as one of the fixtures is Chelsea who they are likely to be roughly 5/6 against.
