Roy Outers will never be argued out of their position which is of course their entitlement.

If not directly criticising Roy for a specific Palace game the it will be his handling of certain players ( Meyer never had a chance or Camarasa was wasted yawn yawn ).

Then you have the damning with feint praise approach, and the being negative about good things such as " who was our worst player against Brighton ".

I am quite happy to moan about Roy when justified IMO and absolutely think we should be looking into the future now to line up a successor.

As a Palace fan I couldn't care less about Roy's performance with other clubs or the national team.

If I did I would by way of example be putting up history like this

"The achievement of taking Fulham so unexpectedly far, beating famous teams like Hamburger SV, Juventus, holders Shakhtar Donetsk and Basel in the competition, led to Roy Hodgson being voted the LMA Manager of the Year by the widest margin in the history of the award.["

Interesting but not relevant to the present

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

That wasn't abuse Just stating a fact. If you can't stand the heat stay out of the kitchen.

You are always denigrating people who see things different from you. You think your views on Roy are the only ones to be considered.

Break it up lads. No need. When you boil it all down most of us think he's done well to keep us up even if the football we play sometimes isn't pretty.

Not many managers out there can boast a CV as good as his. That's a fact.

My expectation is each season PL survival, a cup run now and again, the occasional scalp of a top club, some memorable moments ( Ayew wonder goal, Eze free kick, Mateta back heel, Wilf on fire etc ). With that goes the other side of the coin, grinding out results, some dull games and some horrendous defensive errors by individuals.

Basically what we have now.

What I do not expect is a regular supply of exciting play week in week out. We last had that in the season when Murray was top Championship scorer, or when we were terrifying defences with Wilf down one wing and Bolasie down the other but those days have gone.

It's easy to criticise the performances from an entertainment aspect but I can't see we are going to consistently have stability and entertainment without a substantial amount of cash appearing from somewhere.

That's just my opinion, but it's gets a bit wearing having so much moaning and criticism based on someone not enjoying watching.

Cant argue with any of that.

Top 10 and a real desire shown by the manager to get there and demonstrated in our style of play.

In fact virtually echoing what Gary Cahill said after the Brighton game and he used the words ‘kick on’.so refreshing to hear.

You expect top 10 with the 15th highest transfer and wage budget? Righto. You can't buy a Porsche with the money for a Skoda.

Well Gary Cahill seems to think we can. Seem to recall Cloughie winning the European cup with not the youngest team and a certain Frank Clarke at full back who had been written off years back but they had confidence and belief in their abilities drilled into them. It’s about getting the absolute best out of the team you have.

Last night showed quite nicely why he prefers us to play the way he has managed us to accumulate the points we have so far, better players who don't gift the opposition and then perhaps we'll be able to move up the table, we are where we are because we have too many individual mistakes throughout.

Quite right. Roy's tactics weren't wrong - his players let him, and us, down. Enough said about them on last nights match thread.

I'm sure most of us expected us to lose last night if we're honest, but I must say I haven't enjoyed watching us lose a game as much for a very long time.

All Spurs' goals were crackers, no question.

With respect the second goal was a "Cracker" but I question our decision making and defending for the others.
A very "Bad day at the office" for us being beaten 4-1.
