Indeed he did, said so on the radio to! A draw at the arse isn"t a bad result at all, who would have thought we would be a bit disappointed at the end with a draw a few years ago!

He did hold the ball up well but as usual his first touch was awful at times and most importantly when chances did come his way he f***ed it up but that's been happening for nearly 3 seasons now...

An excellent point and a shame not to of hot 3. After that awful Wolves performance it was good to see this type of reaction. I thought MacArthur was an absolute beast tonight... Played superbly.

Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!!

Decent point and Solid team performance against an in form team. Guita didn’t have a save to make.

Our finishing let us down as we had the much better chances.

McCarthur and Luka were immense in midfield. They got through a serious amount of work and didn’t put a foot wrong.

A great point away from home and a clean sheet, but I view that as a solid point against a fellow mid table rival. The worst Arsenal side I've ever seen. If we had any attacking impetus we could have nicked something there.

Agreed. Lots of positives and honestly thought Ayew was gonna win it near the end!

Our attacking quartet left a lot to be desired but am pleased with the performance of the rest, a very good effort and could easily have been three points but will take the one for now!

COYP

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

Any Palace superlatives, beyond a sound defensive performance, are wide of the mark. It was an abject Palace performance, only embelished by a lucklustre Arsenal and two decent chances in the first half. We could barely string two passes in their final third. For a team with mid-table ambitions that's almost criminal. Our front attackers didn't look up for the game, unlike the rest. Zaha looked devoid of ideas, panicking whenever an Arsenal man got near him, and Eze clearly knows very little of the league. McArthur was immense, as per. Arsenal were there for the taking. Still, respect the point and all that.

So let’s have a look.

Tompkins hit the bar.

Benteke had an excellent chance that he blazed over the bar, he also had a great header that the keeper pulled off a top save, and another half chance that hit the target.

Then we had numerous chances on the break that we should have done better with,

So that to me sounds like a bit more than a defensive performance,

Where did you watch the game? Ceefax ?
