Crystal Palace are keen on bringing Celtic star Odsonne Edouard to the club this summer. Zaha out with Odsonne and Eze coming in would make sense. There is also a need to get rid of Sahko and one of the defensive midfielders to free up funds

This morning's rumour is that a £40m offer will allow him to leave.
Seems fair to me if true.

I don't think I've ever heard a manager say that their star player would Relish a move away from the club.

Has their ever been a manager to show less ambition and less desire?

I think the opposite. It's a smart move. Everybody and anybody knows Wilf would want to move to a bigger club so saying otherwise publicly now would just make us look foolish. By saying what he has said if the article is accurate is 'yes we all know he wants to leave but if we don't get the price we want he is staying with us whether he likes it or not.' It says clubs have to do buisness with us and trying to turn the players head is irrelevant.

Think he should be saying that we want to fight tooth and nail to make this place somewhere players want to be. Particularly our prize asset.

I think you're making something out of nothing and just finding something else to blame Hodgson for.

It is certainly no secret that Zaha has had a desire to move to 'Pastures new' for a while so what Hodgson has said is hardly "Breaking news".

In my humble estimation it is in Zaha's and the club's interests that he ploughs his furrow elsewhere.

I just can’t see where the bid is going to come from in England for Wilf. Brendan Rodgers wouldn’t sign him as he’s not his type of player. Chelsea rumours are nonsense because they already have better players.

In my opinion he is the type of player who is not suited to any of the top clubs at the moment. I can see him staying with us and I will be delighted if he does. After the season he has just had he will be in no position to tell Parish how great he is and that he wants a move. It will be a interesting one.

Everton is the only club that I can see being slightly possible but it all depends what Ancelotti thinks of him, I just think Wilf’s temperament on the pitch will have put most managers off him. He is knocked off his game so easily by any half decent player. 1 example Ward Prowse from Southampton.

If clubs are going to fork out 40-50-60 million for a soon to be 28 year old player then would want to be the finished article.

Then the other thing with Everton would be does Wilf want to go to a club who can’t even get to Europe themselves? There is a lot of variables.

When he wakes himself up usually around the seventy eighth mark he awakens all his team mates along with him doesn't he, he definitely isn't the same player this season with us and wherever he does go he will become that player we've lost ...meaning he will help make that team so much better then it is now and Europe will appear a lot lot closer.

He is that good, but he is a mood payer sadly.

My worry is not Zaha leaving. Had enough of the rumours and baby behaviour - thank you, and goodbye. My issue is that we think McArthur, Meyer and Schlupp can cover the left meaning we will be left with Townsend as our only winger, and he is off form (crap basically).
I don't see us signing a decent replacement. We probably think Banks can do a job but he hardly set the world alight on loan. I don't think he was even a first team regular in a low Scottish side.
