Your right it shouldn't happen but unfortunately in sport it doesn't always go your own way . The secret is minimising your mistakes which we do very well

..but, eventually on way too many occasions the ball inevitably finds itself on Guaita's foot to be booted out for the opposition to find anyway, against teams that are not pressing as much we can pass the ball along but today at Southampton was not the time nor the place to be doing that, they have to understand when to and not to better. You're right though the players have definitely upped their performances with much improved passing, I'm just so frustrated with today's result because we had it in the bag!

we are 9th, 28 points after 20 games...moan about that
and you are no proper palace fan.

not kellys faulf, not wilfs fault because his armpit hair was offside.

a point away is a point away. we are doing well, lets enjoy this point.

i will say however, macarthy & meyer starting makes us pass the ball forward better.

Correct.
We're having a fantastic season, mainly down to Roy, and the belief the players have in him.

No, sorry I'm not having that! Enough is enough.... we've been striped up by VAR and the FA. Sure we're having a good season cos we're a decent club, but are you gonna sit back and say VAR was right. Fvk off right now..... if I was Wilf or Meyer I would have walked straight off the pitch ffs.

I'm livid and I'm gonna do damage over this.

You sit back and comply with VAR and the fuxking FA bvnch of cvntz

So you didn’t entirely agree with the decision?

Never in a million years should that be offside, football needs excitement with goals, VAR is going to kill it.

Looked a perfectly good goal chalked off, that’s a couple of bad ones that have gone against us now.

Dumb decision. How is there an advantage to having an arm in front of the last defender?

The Mail on Sunday article a couple of moths back highlighted that VAR could only be accurate to a margin of error ranging anything from 13cm minimum up to potential 38.8cm!!! (due to freeze technology and judging when the ball was played). This is just a farce when they are examining it to such a microscopic degree.

Also working out where to draw the lines is done by a human and not technology so yet further room for error!

How you can decide when the ball was played, where wilf’s shoulder ends and arm begins EXACTLY and where that is in relation to a boot with a margin of error of up to almost 39cm is a flippin joke and VAR is ruining the game in its current form and interpretation.

Okay so can anybody clarify the rules for me because as far as I've always been aware the offside rule states that a player is offside when a playable part of his body is beyond the last line, i.e. Any part of his body he can use to play the ball, NOT his hands or arms yet I've seen countless times this season, including yesterday, offsides given in VAR for arms or even hands beyond the last line.

What exactly is the rule??

Arms and hands do not count when considering offside...

....but when you combine Andre Marriner on VAR duty and Wilf, they do...
