The critics of Roy, and I am one, would have less to be critical of if we played more on the front foot as we did on Saturday.
It was noticeable that Kouyate and Mcarthur were making forward runs all game and we played at a quicker tempo.
We seemed to be playing 20 yards further up the pitch and this enabled us to create more in dangerous areas.
It begs the question why we haven’t employed similar tactics against lesser teams instead of lining up with ten behind the ball.

At least roy showed that he has a plan B.
Hope he shows the same in the next 5 games.

Roy had worked out how to snub Liverpools build up by attacking and pressing their full backs. This worked to any extent, if only we took our chances.

Indeed, that's what been so frustrating this season. Maybe the takeover saga has led to him being forced to concentrate on results above anything else at all? We def could have played like we did Saturday & have achieved more points, goals & entertainment

Why blame Roy when in previous games the players couldn't pass the ball 5 yards and therefore the team couldn't get up the pitch. Has to be a combination of the opposition form and our form. The team set up the same as against Man City for example. They just played better on Saturday and the opposition played worse.

We lost but we got what we wanted. Our team actually had a go against a big boy. We never laid a glove on City Leicester and Chelsea

Just watched the highlights again... Why oh why were we f***ing about right in front of our goal for their winner - just punt it away!

We played further forward Saturday & tried to win the ball back a lot further forward than against City, or anyone else this season. Sheff Utd game was winable for certain if we had gone at them like Saturday, ditto Everton Arsenal, possibly wolves& Leicester
